Supplied without gasket - therefore useless.
I've purchased 2 of these to replace a faulty element. The first burned out - probably because a leak entered the themostat. The second is leaking and can't be fixed. We had to reuse the original heater gasket when fitting as neither of these was supplied with one and it seems this is causing it to leak (according to the heating engineer who fitted both). It is usual for parts such as this to be supplied with a new gasket - and without this it probably can't be fitted correctly. I contacted Amazon but they couldn't put me in touch with the seller or manufacturer. They will refund me but this is not going to help much after spending £120 in heating engineer fees. As such I would avoid buying this unless you are prepared to take a chance that your existing gasket will work, or you can source a gasket yourself.
