Trump Card Concealment Holster - Right Handed (Black, Standard Belt Length)

Am very impressed with this rig. It is light in weight, very soft in texture yet sturdy enough to very securely hold my 25 ounce Colt Defender 1911. In fact this gun is slightly on the heavy side for a compact weapon yet it fits perfectly and easily supported by the Trump holster. I intend to wear this rig over a tee shirt with a thin light colored and loosely fitting cover shirt left untucked. I live in FL and yet in spite of our frequently warm temps I do not believe this arrangement will be objectionable or too warm for my life style. I find the best parts (IMO) are the following: The support strap (over the shoulder). This element can be attached by the user at 2 points (1 in front and 1 in back) so these are personally adjusted to customize the fit. Attachments are done using surprisingly strong velcro tabs and the length of the shoulder strap is also adjustable meaning the height of where you position the gun can vary - this turned out to be a key advantage (discussed below). The second best feature is the lateral adjustment for the belt that goes around the trunk. This adjustment allows you to wear the whole rig high around the chest or lower around the waist and to take up any slack as per your own physical configuration. Next, no part of the gun sticks out of the holster when secured in place. This has pros and cons - a quick draw should not be expected with this unit, however this seems to be the best form of concealment I have seen so far (this is the 5th rig I tried over the past month). I can tell that due to the exceptionally snug fit coupled with a surprising level of comfort, this rig is going to work very well for my purposes. At first it was my expectation to wear the rig high (right up under my left arm) to optimize concealment (keep in mind I wear this over a sleeved tee shirt). That did not work well because the diameter of the chest is at its broadest point right under the arm so as I tried several configurations, I determined that adjusting the shoulder strap longer (to wear the holster lower - above my hips but below my chest) allowed the gun to tuck into the more narrow diameter around my waist (i.e. at the belly level instead of the chest). In this fashion the left arm can be relaxed and hang straight down and remain over the holstered gun as it is indented into the curve of the waist. Whereas when around the chest, my left arm sort of had to stick out a bit to allow for the additional breadth created at chest level by the holstered gun (hope that's clear). Anyway, after several re-tries I got the rig adjusted "right" (for me). Now it takes only a few seconds to slip my left arm through loop created by the shoulder strap and close 3 snaps at the holster on the rib belt to secure the rig around my trunk. The holster is thus at the right level every time and goes on quickly. I usually wear dockers and a tee shirt as my "uniform of the day" so this rig is the first solution I have found that is very fast to put on and easy to take off and stow ... WITHOUT HAVING TO CHANGE CLOTHES or have a bulky holster flopping around loosely under my shirt. Just remember never dress or undress any holster with a loaded gun in it. The Trump Card rig is no exception to the rule. Additional Info: I ordered black which can be seen through a light colored thin shirt (which I typically wear) especially if wearing a white tee underneath. If you wear a black tee underneath even with a with thin light colored cover shirt, the rig blends in with the tee underneath and you are again in stealth mode and good to go. Because I wear light shirts over white tees regularly the black shows so I plan to also get the lighter colored rig (for all occasions : ) Overall I would recommend this rig to anyone who wants to securely (up tight and snug) conceal a gun in a surprisingly comfortable manner while minimizing time to dress the rig. Great design, great execution, good value.

Received today. Very happy with it. I wanted something to comfortably wear around the house. I work from home quite often and there have been daytime break-ins in the area. I don't always answer the door when I'm here as I'm often on important calls and can't be interrupted. If I'm "dressed" at home, I wear a leather OWB holster on a 511 gun belt. But much of the time, I'm in gym pants/shorts and a t-shirt and no belt for a standard holster. Normal shoulder rigs don't seem to work well if not tied down to a belt so they aren't really an option. This, however, works great over a t-shirt our as a belly band. Extremely comfortable and nicely holds everything from sub-compact .380 to a full frame Glock with a X5L laser/light combo. It really isn't built for "quick draw" but is a reasonably convenient and comfortable way to always have your gun within reach when a normal holster isn't practical. It does not seem "hot" to wear nor does it chafe. It is infinitely adjustable for comfort and function. I'm "big boned" (size 52 sport jacket) and the standard size fits me comfortably. You can get a size extension from the mfr. for a few bucks if you need it (I also received it today - I ordered it "just in case" - but I don't think I'm going to need it.Another review suggested modifying the stiff insert to make drawing the pistol cleaner. I haven't done that yet but I will. Pistol Wear should take note. It is a needed but simple mod.

Comfortable and discreet. Fits the equipment as expected. The second one I have purchased. As good as the previous but in a different size. First one is still going strong after more than a year of everyday use.

Showed up immediately. I wasn’t certain about which size to get. I got the regular but should have gotten the mini-it’s a little too big for my SIG 365, but don’t like to return things unless absolutely necessary. I took out the extra piece, which is actually a good idea, but leaves too much of an imprint of the holster for me—only 5’1”. I don’t wear belted pants—only wear active wear/yoga type, so holster has to be independent & not crazy about belly bands, since I live in Arizona, & it’s 115 today, so this IS the best option.

This is not a practical holster. It is hard to put on and take off, and the firearm is bot easily accessible, if you need it. It was designed to make you feel good that you carry your firearm, but it will not serve you well if you need it. I returned mine.

Good product.

The photos do not show the entire IWB holster, so it's hard to decide whether or not to get it. Don't have a clear picture of what the holster, in all its configurations, is like. Great idea though.
