Displayport to HDMI, SILEBING09 Nylon Braided 6FT 4K Uni-Directional DP to HDMI Cable Compatible with Most Monitors

I purchased a few of these cables to use with two new gaming PCs I recently built for my son and myself. The high end Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 graphics cards have mostly Display Ports where as the previous computers we used had HDMI. So I needed to match up between the monitors which have HDMI and the graphics cards. One option is to use an adapter, but for the price difference I prefer and recommend the use of cables to prevent signal loss at connection points - which does occur.These are very well made cables and that is coming from an IT guy who worked for years as a Service Desk Manager responsible for setting up computers for my company. I purchased many cables over the years and can tell the difference between cheaply made cables and high end quality cables. These fall into the later category.The braided cable prevents kinking and helps when it comes time to coil them up for storage too - which often happens at some point. The ends are attached very well to the cables, which is a weak point. I have not noticed any appreciable signal loss and have one of these connected from the graphics card to a new 2K monitor.I have already purchased additional cables since my initial purchase and very happy with the product. I can definitely recommend these cables and would even at twice the price.

received it in 2 days. fit perfect, however, at 1st, I could not get it to do what I purchased it for, Thunderbolt display port to monitor HDMI port. I emailed them my issue, they responded in <24hrs. with that I later discovered the cables were correct, I had a driver issue. once I resolved that everything was good. my issue was not related in anyway to the cable. they are both in place now and working just fine. well worth the money.

I'm temporarily using this cable on a 42 inch TV to my MSI Radeon RX 580 DirectX graphics card. I play Fallen Order, Destiny 2, and Apex Legends and they look great. No fuzzy images, and its real smooth despite that I'm using a old TV. The quality of the cable is pretty great for how cheap it is. The braiding gives it a nice sturdy feel, but its not too stiff. It also has a Velcro tie attached to the cable so you can shorten it if need be. I also liked that after I purchased it, the seller sent me more information on the product making sure that it's the product I needed and if I have any questions or concerns to contact them for any help. They even offered a refund if I changed my mind on the product. Which not many sellers do. Overall, I recommend this to anyone based on quality, seller, and price.

I was using this on a rather new computer and a new monitor in a pretty sophisticated setup (third monitor on a virtual virtual pinball machine. The fancy graphics card that I am using has five possible ports. For some reason, one of the ports (display port) was flickering and going blank sporadically. I was a little bummed since I did not know which item was not acting well. After I did some other setup work, I switch the (display port) cable setup around on the graphics card. The boot up sequence started on the main HDMI TV/Monitor rather than the new HP monitor with this cable. No flickering or blanking out. Lucked out. Cable does not appear suspect. Will monitor for a couple weeks. Will look to rerate if everything goes ok.

This cable was purchased to make use of an unused display port on the back of our dell tower. I knew prior to purchase the cable that it is Display port out and HDMI in. For example if your graphics card has a display port out and your monitor has HDMI in, you will see a picture on your screen. If you try to use it as HDMI out and display port in IT WILL NOT WORK. Please keep that in mind when you buy this cable. It works great and has an awesome picture quality in these thin portable monitor.

It works perfectly. It is compatible with my 4k monitor. I have been switching it around because i have other devices i want to connect to my pc. Now that i know it works great, i am considering buying more. What i like about it was that it is braided instead of plastic cable. This allows me to turn and twist it any ways i want without breaking the cable. It was also easy to handle due to nonslip surface. Great cable!

I bought this cable so I didn't have to use an HDMI to display port adapter with my computer. This cable makes everything more convenient. The cable is long enough to reach from my computer to the monitor and there are no issues with picture or sound quality. The cable is also sturdy and looks like it will last a long time.

So I bit the bullet on a hdmi to display port cable finally. I've been using a hdmi to hdmi cable with a hdmi to display port adapter to hook up my second monitor to my geforce video card. As can happen with adapters, they may become finicky finding the sweet spot to hold a connection consistently, and my adapter had reached that point; it was definitely not the hdmi cable as I tested for that.Enter this cable. Right off the bat this cable felt SOLID both for it's nylon braided cabling, and the very well build heads that house the connectors. They also have extending shielding to protect from cable wear at the base. It's a very flexible cable, and at 6 ft is more than enough for most situations. Upon hooking it up to my 1080p HP monitor it function as expected right away. I even wiggle the cable around to see if the connection would get interrupted, but it didn't; it worked FLAWLESSLY. What more can I say? Basically, the DisplayPort is the newest digital connection to fill a void where only DVI and HDMI used to be the only two digital players. DisplayPort to HDMI cable is great for PC-to-TV streaming, or taking your signal out to a projector or monitor. One thing to keep in mind is that cables will not be bidirectional. You may find bidirectional adapters, but DisplayPort to HDMI cables will only carry signals in one direction. For the length limitation, if you expect to maintain UHD resolution standards and higher-end bit depth, you’ll want to observe a 9-foot maximum. Going substantially over that distance will cause issues. So this 6ft one is perfect for my use. About the AV quality, this HDMI and DP can support up to 4K content(Better than normal 1080p ones), and allow for 2, 5.1, and 7.1 channel options. But note: your device should also support 4K. Compatibility issue. Almost universal compatibility with all variety of devices and operating systems. As long as you’re using electronics with an HDMI and DisplayPort on them, you shouldn’t have to fret details. Each end terminates in gold-plated ends connection heads, which are ideal for making repeated contact, and generally defending your plugs against corrosion. Overall, well-built, perfect transimission, and ideal size for me, I would buy it again if for further need.

The cable looked great! Just like you can see in other people's reviews.Not only is it a little pricier than other cables, but it doesn't work 100% of the time.Any cable that doesn't work 100% of the time is trash. I used this cable for work and hooked up my second screen. One and a half months in, the cable started to glitch out sometimes my screen would blink out for half a second enough form my screen to go blank, and then I would have to wake 4 seconds for my screen to reconnect. Then it happened like 10-15 times a day, and it is getting annoying. I thought it was because my monitor was getting old, but to test the problem, I swapped the cables from my good monitor that doesn't appear to have the problem, and sure enough, after 5 minutes, the screen went out.The problem is the cable. Its a shame the cable looks great, but it doesn't last two months.Edit - adding one star because the support was quick and easy to get a refund.

Got a computer that has used all the graphics outputs and I had a monitor with an hdmi connection and there was a displayport left on the graphics output... this is a good price for a very decent quality cable. Cannot complain about it, the cable just works. If it didn't, you'll be hearing back from me.

Noticed that these cables are much higher quality than others I’ve used. Remember when you buy cables one of the most important parts is at the connectors and these are aluminum and sturdy.Comes with velcro cable organizer so that was the best part for me.
