Kanulock Lockable Tiedown Set 2.5m / 8 FT

Bought to add extra security to my roofbox when parked up overnight on holiday. Robust design with internal wire to make cutting the straps mor challenging for thieves. Let down though by really fiddly key locking system. Key won't turn unless you wiggle the clamp system in and out until lock engages.

Hi. I recently purchased a set of Kanulock straps (green) to replace my old straps that I have had since 2012 (yellow).They have been used in exactly the same environment same place holding the same equipment but with in just a 6 week period the new ones are beginning to rust in the lock. This is already stopping the lock function working smoothly.I have been really happy with my old straps and they have been great, in fact the deterioration of the new lock now means that the old ones are functioning better.Very disappointed in the quality of the new straps. I assume that the manufacturers have changed material or suppliers over the years.I feel now I must look for a alternative unless the set I have purchased are substandard in some way.

These will be used to strap my suitcase to the luggage rack of my Morgan Car. I can find nothing else that will remotely compete with the level of security provided by Kanulock.
