MinnKota MKP 10 Prop Nut 1/2" (B)

Great product and great price, this is hard to find locally and if you do it is at a marine dealer who want a small fortune for it. You should always have a spare with you, sometimes line gets behind the prop and will work into the bearings and eventually ruin your trolling motor. Very easy to remove the prop and remove the line and save a ton of money on having it repaired. Unfortunately also easy to drop or loose the prop nut when doing this, and if you are on the water .... it is a goner and will ruing your day of fishing. Having a spare can really be a plus, or if you hit something in the water with the prop and shear the pin, either way this is the answer to salvaging your fishing trip. By the way if the pin gets bent it can cause the prop to vibrate on high speed, so if you have a vibration in the motor check the shear pin that my be your only problem.

This is the second time that I broke the prop pin, it is a real pain to have to take the prop nut off, especially out on the lake. These work great, I replaced the original prop nut with the one here. Such a big difference! I bought 5 of these because I really like to fish and inevitably get line caught up in my trolling motor prop, but I don't realize it until it is too late! I will always have a spare now!

This product will not fit the 30 thrust minkota

I had a pin shear while fishing, and removing the factory nut was a PITA. This is much better, and having a replacement pin on board will be great.

First off, once I got this I realized that this was for a different style prop but I literally bought this for the pin and as it was for a different prop, it had none. Terrible pictures and descriptions for each type. As you can see, the box doesn't match the picture.. Very annoying from a company of this size, takes a few minutes to update images and descriptions, feel free to use the one I took if you can't figure out how to take a picture

I love these things. never had to use them yet, but i'm sure they are good. not good to chew on though... don't chew on them. I tried it... not good.
