does this fan make any type of sound when it runs and how easy is it to clean the blades that are inside the machine if you have to clean it.

I have owned this appliance for a few months now and the only thing you have to clean is with a soft brush, the tiny holes/grills at the base where dust collects on the surface of the air intake ducts. I don't think there are any blades inside and if there were you wouldn't be able to access them. As for the sound it's one of the quietest fans I've ever experienced. Any sound comes from the motor that rotates the fan's base and even then it sounds like air moving thru space. I have the fan in my bedroom running day and night and I forget it's there! You can dial the intensity of the breeze from one to ten and only at the upper register do you hear the rushing air sound, but at five you can barely hear the sound of air! It's truly a beautiful piece of industrial design and looks like a piece of sculpture weather off or on.

I would like to know what is the input power (watts) for Dyson AM06 and AM07?  I am living in Hong Kong and the power supply is 220-240.  Thanks!

Yep, fans only work on 110V for the Amazon.com versions. Amazon co uk will have the UK (220V) version but will not ship to Hong Kong. Looking at the price here, seems like Groupon HK is really ripping people off!

What is the range of the airflow on this?

I can detect airflow 10 feet away on the lowest (1 to 10) setting.  It is not like a common blade fan, the air flow is targeted, similar to a Laser.

description states its 10inch but am06 is 12" is this the same model?

Hello, I have the 10 inch which looks like the 12 inch but my 10 inch just has one setting for air control.  It appears as though the 12 in has a knob to adjust the air flow setting.  The 10 inch model I have is "Dyson Air Multiplier AM06 Table Fan, 10 Inches, Black".
