Great for an engineering science class
I used these for my afterschool science class where 3rd-6th graders had to use these along with other items to build the strongest structure, tallest structure, and widest structures. These held up well and were perfect, no splintering, and will be used again in other activities. They would also be great to use for painting projects since the wood is nice and sanded smooth. My 3 and 5 year old also love them to try to build tall towers and castles.

Perfect for my Parrot😄
I didn't get these for crafts, I got them for my African Grey parrot to chew on and they're perfect! I needed hardwood that did not have a harmful or toxic finish to satisfy her need to chew. These are the perfect size as she can hold them in her foot.

These blocks are exactly as described. They are perfect for little hands to build. I prefer the 1" size because they are easier for my kids to stack in high towers. We used these at a baby shower to decorate for the new baby. Everyone had a blast and the result was great. I would definitely buy again!
