CS Labs K5-PRO viscous thermal paste for thermal pad 20g compatible with iPhone, Apple iMac, Sony PS4 & PS3, XBOX, Acer Aspire etc

I used this to replace the thermal pads on my Vega 56 GPU, as the old ones were a tad dry and brittle. The graphics card now runs a lot cooler in games on a reference cooler. It is nice to know that my VRM's are running cooler, screen play seems smoother. The viscous thermal paste is a bit fiddly to use being like wettish putty, but was applied with the supplied spatular and a wooden cocktail stick. I did not try this on the GPU itself as it is a thermal pad replacement afterall, and just used my normal thermal grease. The video I saw on line was rebuilding a laptop and they used this K5-PRO on all of the components including the CPU. (Perhaps I might try that in the future would be interesting) The 20g tub suppled is ample for many applications too. This is a very good thermal pad replacement, looking on line there are a few videos on what to expect out of the tub.

Worked really well not too hard to apply. Recommended.

Was refurbing my p2000 and decided to give this a try along with the Conductonaut. Stuff worked. Have no info on just one or the other but I figure if you're gonna get gloopy on one part you may as well go the whole way and start smearing stuff all over the place. Messy job, hehe kina satisfying tbh. Liquid metals a bit finiky but all in a worthwhile upgrade. Idle temps dropped 3-6c and the annoying spike in temperature I was developing has totally gone. Barely goes above 60c now. Full load on benchmark highest was 68.4c. that was the very first run tho and now it won't hit 65c doin same tests. Have to say, I preferred doin it this way. Dunno bout gettin it back off, presume iso will make short work of it.

THIS IS A MUST FOR VRM COMPONENTS IN A LAPTOP. Repasted my laptop, and applied K5-pro on the vrms. Did its job amazingly. It came with generous amount, so be generous when you apply them on the VRMs. It is non-conductive, so if it spills onto the sides, it is not a problem. Temps dropped significantly after applying this on VRM and Grizzly Hydronaut on CPU and GPU. Side note: Do not apply K5-pro on cpu or gpu. Only the VRM.

Does the job, packaging is a bit weird though.

It’s a great product if you are able to apply it properly, as it’s fairly thick. I managed to reduce my temps significantly by using it on my VRMs.

i remember seeing this on a ltt video a few years ago. it came time for me to repaste my rtx 2080 super i did a benchmark before was 80c gpu temp and 105 hotspot used k5 pro on all the places there was thermal pads and just used some mx4 on the die and now 73 gpu temp a 80 hotspot. could of been the fresh mx4 but either way i used this product and it didnt hurt it and alot easier than messing about with thermal pads. ill be using again for sure

Used this for replacing the thermal putty on my nitro 5 laptop memory and vrms (used syy 157 thermal paste for the cpu and gpu dies) as the temperatures were too high for my liking for a new laptop (temps dropped by 3 degrees on cpu and 15 on gpu when benchmarking, sorry didn't take photos of temps but anyone who has used a nitro 5 will know that 53 cpu and 61 on gpu is a good temp for this laptop whilst stress testing) Does exactly as it says and tbh it felt wrong using it like its advised of using globs etc that will spread out as you put the heatsink assembly back together but the temperatures were better after using this and the other paste for cpu/gpu etc and I've not had any overheating or other issues since Great for tech shops if your dealing with multiple laptops etc as trying to measure thermal pads and dealing with laptop flex is why this was designed (I've changed thermal pads on several desktop graphics cards over the years and it's great but for laptops it doesn't work without alot of faff etc)

A bit messy to apply but since its non conductive no issue when it squeezes out and get to your components. Temps are almost the same as arctic thermal pads in my case. The best thing is no more guess work when replacing your stock thermal pads to your gpu memory chips!

Simple and easy way to replace thermal pads on vram on 2019 iMac. Better cooling performance also. Stays where you put it and has a wonderful thickness for gap filling.

usata su vari laptop e imac dopo la pulizia... la sua viscosità permette di sostituire con un buon risultato i pad termici. Ad ora, nessun problema di surriscaldamento, in particolare su una "vecchia" GTX1060" che tendeva a riscaldarsi un po troppo.
