perfect balm while grieving - inspiring, comforting, and practical
I ordered a bunch of different books on the general subject of death soon after my mother passed. I was so desperate to understand better and to remain connected to her as much as I could. I started reading 3 books, one on the subject of death/dying, one on the after life by another medium, and this one. Out of the 3, this book, Signs, is the one that really engaged me and that I could finish.Grieving does something to your brain, and it wasn't easy to focus and really absorb words in the weeks following my mom's passing. But I loved the writing in this book (the author is a former English teacher) - it was easy on my brain and soothing and comforting.I loved (love) that the book is both story telling and practical. The author relays numerous stories and examples of her and others' experiences with signs and communications with those on the other side, but she also devotes a section to teaching the reader how to identify signs (and how to tell when something is probably not a sign) and communicate with deceased loved ones, and to open ourselves to receive their communications. This combination is what I needed; I could be inspired and convinced of the after life by reading the various stories, and I could also learn some tools to be more connected to my mother.I've since been able to notice signs around me, and to have a better idea as to what is a potential or probable sign and what is merely "normal" and expected. After not having felt my mom for a while, one night I spoke to her and asked for a sign (as the author instructs). The next day on my walk, after not having seen animals for awhile, I spotted a bunny who remained for 15 minutes (usually they scurry away at the first sight of a human approaching) and then right after that, a deer that kept staring at me. The deer seemed to have appeared out of nowhere (well, I'm sure it walked there but I just didn't see it) and looking up to see its eyes on me gave me a huge jolt and chills down my spine. Deer are not usual in my area, but I had never seen one on a neighborhood street with houses, cars, and people out walking. I've seen these animals around and usually don't think they are signs but on that day I believed that they likely were. After losing my mom the only way to cope was to believe that she was not truly gone. This book was so comforting in that sense as it gave numerous examples of ways in which our loved ones continue to exist and be a part of our lives even long after they have left the physical world. This was exactly what I needed in the weeks following my mom's death. I will likely revisit it and read parts of it again.

Moved to tears
Everyone who has a loved one on the other side should read this and be comforted. I don't feel alone anymore. My family has been sending meaningful unique signs. I never thought they'd be able toFind a way to send some of them.

Makes a Great Gift
This book is eye and heart opening. I can't get through a chapter without crying (good tears, I promise). I've ordered twice for myself but I've given them both as gifts to friends and family that are navigating loss of of loved ones. I think this book can assist as a tool for dealing with grief while opening our eyes to see what the universe so kindly presents to us each day. I've ordered a 3rd copy for myself.

Connecting to your loved ones
I have had readings from Laura Lynne Jackson for several years now and I’ve followed her mercurial rise to success. By the way, I’m a career coach, talent strategy consultant and recruiter, so I’m fascinated by talent and how people wield and evolve their gifts. It’s been impressive and admirable to watch Laura become one of the most accurate and articulate of psychics, her ability to communicate down to nuanced details is unparalleled. Because she is also a teacher, not only does she have an innate psychic intuitive gift, she has used her abilities as a teacher to develop and refine her own methodology of reading message from the other side. And now she's teaching us to build our own method to connect to our past loved ones. They say we all have psychic and intuitive abilities. But like any kind of skill, without the ideal methods and training there’s no telling how long it can take to refine these abilities in ourselves. Just like we all have the potential to be great chefs or singers, without the right methods and guidance to unlock us, these abilities can stay as rocks, diamonds in the rough within us several lifetimes over.Laura’s inspirational mission now is to not only teach us how to hear the messages our own loved ones send us, but in Signs, she shows us how we can develop a much deeper form of communication with our own loved ones that have passed. She’s empowering us by showing us the method by which we all can refine our own psychic and intuitive abilities to connect. Some reviews have complained that there is not enough data or history. Research and you will find plenty of those books and data out there. This is not that, this is a beginners how to book. But it won’t work for you if you don’t give it a chance and try it. Now skepticism is healthy and necessary. A smart scientist will test a method with an open mind, regardless of their skepticism. Don’t just believe with blind faith- test it for yourself but test it thoroughly before you discount it. And if you want to learn to have your loved ones fully communicating with you and helping you course through life then doing it just a couple of times isn't mastering that communication.I love Laura’s first book The Light Between Us, and now I have gifted Signs to more that 20 bereaving friends. It’s helped each and everyone of them heal and connect to those that they miss and it’s filled their lives with love. I love that I can communicate with my past loved ones. Knowing they are always around me to support me is life changing.I’m so honored to have know and watched Laura’s gift grow, and now so grateful to be learning from her as well. Can you imagine the day where each and every one of us can connect and fluidly communicate with our own passed loved ones, our spirit guides and our team of light, knowing we always have their love and support, that we’re never alone. What a beautiful world filled with love & light this would be.

Not worth it
This book is simply a bunch of short stories of people the author knows and the signs they have received from the other side.I lost respect for the author when she revealed herself to be anti-vax particularly in terms of the HPV Vaccine staying that the other side told her this was toxic. As someone who sadly has been in treatment for severe cervical abnormalities for 4 years and facing a hysterectomy I find spreading this attitude utterly repulsive and would not buy another of this authors books again.I can’t see the relevance of this point to her message in the bookThe book also I found to be rather boring after a while as it seemed to be simply the author showing off about her abilities rather than showing the reader how to be open to synchronicities etc.

Angel wings
My mother & favourite human being passed away this past April due to COVID, which left me in unbearable sorrow. I was an atheist until this event, but as the entire world collapsed around me including any walls I’ve built up over the years I’ve been left vulnerable (in the good sense) to receiving signs from my mom. She loved me unconditionally (and me her) and I knew this could not be it, the end. I’ve started receiving signs shortly after her passing and knew it was her. I’ve read probably in excess of 30 books on the subject of NDEs, past lives, signs and symbols, etc. and I still continued to doubt my experiences. I purchased this book a few days ago and this morning I was reading from it while drinking my coffee, and I’ve put it down for a few moments to think of the signs I’ve received over the last few months, and as my gaze went up towards the window, there was this (see picture) - across the street from my flat, the light was hitting the wall in such a way forming what looks like angel wings. Shortly after, I went to the kitchen and started talking to myself as one does (right?) that I’m probably imagining things and asking whether I’ve lost the plot at which point I turned to face the oven which displayed 11:11 (my sign that I haven’t lost it). Anyway, long story short, the review for the book - buy it, read it & believe it and you’ll see it! More synchronicities followed today after reading from this book but I won’t go into detail!

It's good to have confirmation
I have been aware and interested for most of my life in the matters of what goes on beyond this life, but I've never really noticed the "Signs" before. After seeing Laura Lynne Jackson on Netflix and something then evolving from that programme into an incredible sign, I bought the book and I loved it. The way she writes about our teams of light fills my heart and soul with a knowing. I have always called my teams of the light The Stella's. Since reading it I have asked the team for signs, I made them pretty obscure, but that didn't faze them, they have come through with amazing distinction. They've been knocking them out one after the other, I'm having to keep a log of them so I don't forget.Anyway, after I bought my book a colleague at work, out of the blue, asked if I believed that those who had died can give us messages - that's when I bought Book No.2... Book No.3 was bought for a friend on Facebook who posted a picture and called it a sign from her grandfather... Book 4 was bought for another colleague who had to move house and the signs in her story were pretty incredible... Book 5 was bought for someone I don't know, the mother in law of a friend who was looking for answers ...Book 6 was bought for a dear friend in Europe (we're on the same wavelength) I bought book 7 last week for my down to earth, straight talking niece who suddenly asked me some strange questions. Book 8 was bought, to keep handy for when the next person comes along who needs it... This book gave me a bit of spice to open up and see what has, probably, often been there, but now I can acknowledge it and that in itself, seem to create even more, obscure signs.

Not impressed
Struggled to get through this. Very repetitive. Contents of book could have been related in half the number of pages. Style very childish. Nothing like I thought it would be and have already donated to a charity shop.
