I bought this for my son for Christmas, he loves ninjas. I bought lovely foam nunchucks and rubber throwing stars. This sword however was a ridiculous thing for me to buy, I opened it and get the weight and immediately regretted buying it. Wow - he’ll do some damage with this, his sister will end up crying, windows broken etc. In short - this is a lovely weapon, feels great in the hand, I doubt a 7 year old will be able to wield it properly. I’m going to store this for a good few years

What a lovely surprise gift for my girlfriend. I call it the Hemingway. It's excellent in the bedroom. Well when I say that, I mean that's where she yoga's. She said it made her feel strong. So far she's broken 3 lampshades and one of my fingers. But it doesn't really matter. I particularly like the grip. Nice and warm. Particularly this time of year. So I have turned my girlfriend into a stealthy ninja. I say that because she's run out of la.pshades now and plays in the dark. In hindsight it might be bettered to use Hemingway in the garden. I only gave 4 stars before my fithhfinger is still broken

I bought the katana to practice with and as soon as it got here which only took a few days I instantly knew I picked the right katana it felt very sturdy and when I started to practice I felt that my skills had gone from a 7/10 to a 8/10 even though this was a small jump it really felt like the katana had helped it is very durable and sturdy it doesn’t feel like it will break anytime soon if you want a wooden katana this is the one to buy

I was surprised when I got a text message to say it would be delivered the next day as Amazon suggested it would be roughly 5 days or so. It was a lovely surprise. When it arrived it was wrapped up nicely and surprisingly a little heavy. Great quality and great service! I bought the black version. There was no damage to it. This will be great for fitness training! :) Thank you Senshi Japan! Of course make certain to read carefully. This is not to be used for contact training. Useful if you want to strengthen your body and learn techniques. c

I’m really pleased with my Bokken. It is well made, weighty, perfectly straight (ie not warped) and well balanced. It is perfect for its intended use and was worth every penny.

Broke first time of use, had to tape hand gaurd in place, grip kept being moved out of place. I understand it's only 20 quid, but it shouldn't be advertised as durable at all. Potentially good for cosplay

An okay product, probably worth the £20, when unpacking make sure you find the rubber ring to go in front of the Tsuba, I didn't at first and caused me a lot of grief getting it to fit. have revised my original review and upgraded to 4

i was pleased with the quality of the wood as there was no damage, other than little dents, after hours of sparring with my friends but the same day i received it, before i used it, the tsuba cracked (guard) then after 1 hit, half of it was gone. It was disappointing because if i could've bought a much cheaper alternative without the guard but i decided to go with this one for it to break.
