20x11x12  this is a transfer cage.  you  use it to transfer the cat from the Drop Trap. I use it to take cats to the vet.

I have a feral cat+2 kitt.@11 wks.old. #3 fell into our pool @ 8 wks.and we kept her. Should we use her as bait? All to be fixed. Mom CNR.

I have used  the mothers kittens to bait her,  But the kittens were around 4 weeks of age at this age mother cat is still very close to them and nurses them. Yours may be to old now for her to care.  Use a Drop trap for hard to catch Ferals I have lots of success with them.  Sometimes I can catch 3 at one time.

Question 3

how do you get the cat from the drop trap into the transfer cage? I'm not clear on this. I'm helping trap several pregnant ferals/kittens.

There is a door on the side of the drop trap, left side as you face the drop trap, that has a door that can open by pulling it straight up.  After the cats are in the drop trap, and the drop trap is flat on the ground, affix the transfer cage to the side door area with the spring wire attachments.  It should be up against the door on the side of the drop trap so that both the drop trap side door and the transfer cage door can be pulled straight up, allowing the cats to move into the transfer cage.  It is a must that you have the transfer cage covered with a tarp or blanket on the sides and top so that the cat sees the open door as an entrance into a dark area which has a light at the end of the tunnel.  That means that the end of the transfer cage that is opposite of the door is not covered but show the illusion of being an exit through a darkened tunnel.  Once in, close both doors, the transfer cage door first if possible, and then unhook the spring wires from the transfer cage and you should be able to carry the transfer cage, with the cat inside, to a safe, quiet place.  This will work with multiple cats, but you may have to transfer one cat at a time.

Is this trap Operation Catnip recommended?

With reference to "operation catnip", I don't know the answer but I gave the trap to our feral cat support group and they used it to successfully trap a couple of difficult and skittish feral cats, one of which needed veterinary care.  They had previously tried other traps with no luck.
