Wish I would have purchased this tool 30 years ago. Makes shingle replacement so much easier

This product can be a very effective tool for removing individual sidewall cedar shingles. I'd have given it 5 stars if it had the following features: A narrower head would be helpful for removing staples. Plus, a shorter length would make removing shingles close to the ground a lot easier.All in all, I'd buy it again if I had another project of this type.

This definitely makes cedar siding replacement easier. Takes a little learning curve to get a rhythm going, but once you do, the work becomes less labor intensive. Sturdy, this tool is made to last!

Worked great for my Cedar Siding job. I had the house insulated and the insulators broke several shingles in the process. Worked for pulling the nails. Watched several you-tube vids to get a little training and trade hints.

Says it’s for sliding under shingles to cut nails, but it cannot as it’s extremely dull. This item bent every single nail and created a much larger problem that was not fun to fix.Don’t waste your time or money , go to a lumber yard that specializes in roofing and spend the extra cash for a good one.

Well constructed...once piece construction which makes the difference between a slate ripper that would last and one that becomes a rusty pile of garbage.There is not much to a good slate ripper, but it is also easy to make a crappy one. This is a good one.

First, AJC Tools were prompt in fulfilling the order...I have to replace some cedar house shingles and have found this ripper to work very well and saves much time in removal of the shingles without damaging adjacent shinges...Recommend both the vendor and tool...
