This worked great in Ireland using my hairdryer, but then a little weight bent a prong and I couldn't straighten it out. It didn't work after that.

Do not purchase this product! Does not work as advertised. The first time I used it in Australia to convert 240v to 110v, it fried my Waterpic in about 60 seconds. It appears to be a glorified plug adapter that does not convert voltage as advertised. Does not operate as advertised and will damage motors if voltage is not converted.

This converter is light weight and easy to take along on your trip. Just throw it in your bag and you're ready to use any of your devices without a problem.

I have used this a couple of times, it works great for cell phones and such, but my straightener and curling iron still get way too hot. Doesn't convert as well as I had hoped. I just hurry and curl my hair as quickly as possible then unplug it. Probably not the safest solution, but desperate times call for desperate measures lol.

The retractable portion broke easily

This product does not work in South Africa. You need a Type M, three round prong plug. Don't wast your money on this.

This item is so lightweight compared to my last plug that I was worried that it would not last... but it worked great in France, and it's light weight was an advantage.. may not last as long as my last plug... but that's OK... well worth it to me. We were able to charge multiple items at a time.. a camera and two phones.. the usb port was a plus...

I took this item on a recent trip to Europe and it didn't disappoint me. It worked in every country through which I traveled.
