MoenAT2099 Accent Kit for Single Handle Tub and Shower Faucet, Chrome

While trying to complete my bathroom renovation, we discovered that the tile surrounding the opening for shower head arm, was cut incorrectly. The hole was too large and water line was not centered in the opening. The American Standard escushion that came with shower kit was too small to cover the error. Options to correct this problem were: 1) Cut a hole in the adjacent closet wall and reposition the water line; 2) Remove the existing tile and reinstall the 12"x12" square with a properly positioned hole; or 3) Get creative. The first two options would be very expensive, so I tried the creative route. All I really needed was a larger plate to cover the wall.After searching at the big box stores, I turned to Amazon.com and located this Moen Accent Kit. The larger decorative trim plate was a perfect match to my Brushed Nickel shower fixtures. It covered the hole in my tile perfectly and really added to the look of my shower for a lot less than the first two options! I'm so pleased.I'm saving the smaller piece of trim for any future plumbing emergencies!

We finally finished tiling and were so excited to put the shower head on...to our dismay our hole was too large and the flange that came with the shower head didn't cover our large gap.Enter this product!Yay it covers the hole! We caulked it in and you can't even tell it doesn't go there! The tabs do scratch the showerhead neck if your not careful so don't put it on and off too many times like we did! (See photo)

After reading a great review that covered my problem,I ordered this and wasn't disappointed. I stacked them too for the shower head, covered up the gap from the tile that wasnt centered, amd it looks fantastic. Pic before i installed our shower head fro reference

I replaced outdated brass handles with this one for a timeless look and it came out beautiful. I actually bent the bracket back a little on the large one and stack them on top of each other in my shower arm for a beautiful custom look!

Finally cleaned up the gaps! Spout for tub was too far from surround, this cleaned up gap. Matched another set to shower head and project is complete!

I expected these to be heavy duty like my old gold ones. They are thin and lightly painted.

We ordered a few of these items. I watched a youtube video to figure out how to remove faucet and plastic piece on copper pipe (very easy). Changed out our gold/brass for chrome and all matched perfectly and was a great quality. One of our sets that came had a brushed nickel piece but Amazon fixed that quickly.
