Takes patience to install, somewhat thin, but it is sticking great to inside kitchen cabinets
I used 2 rolls (15.7 x 118 size) of this white wood adhesive paper for the inside of my kitchen cabinet, to cover the old, unattractive, cheap wood. It brightened the shelves inside my cabinet immediately so I can now see my food and dishes much easier, which is exactly what I wanted. The paper is a bright white color with a light faux wood grain design (also in white). The back has thin paper you peel off when you are ready to install. The back paper has grids printed on it which is helpful when precutting pieces. As you can see in the last photo, I used a patterned wallpaper for the inner cabinet doors and inner sides of the cabinets - this review is for the white, faux wood grain adhesive paper only, which was used on the back of the cabinet and tops and bottoms of the cabinet shelves.Installation of the adhesive paper is a bit tricky and requires patience. I measured each section and cut the pieces before beginning. I was able to install one large piece on the top back of the cabinet pretty easily (approximately 35 inches wide and 10 inches tall). But when I tried a second section of the same size, the paper kept falling onto itself and sticking to itself and ripping. So I admitted defeat and cut the piece for each large section into 2 pieces, and installing smaller pieces eliminated that problem.I was initially annoyed at not being able to do each shelf with large pieces because I was concerned it would look like an unattractive mish mash of pieces where the faux wood grain didn’t line up perfectly. But now that it’s done it doesn’t bother me at all, because you don’t notice the faux grain enough to notice if it lines up - it is a very light design and in the same white color as the paper itself. The photos in the product listing make it look like the faux wood grain is in a light silver or grey, but that was not the case with the 2 rolls I ordered. When I first opened the package I was a little disappointed the faux wood grain wasn’t silver, but now that it’s installed I’m thrilled with how it looks because it’s a sharp, clean white, which just a tiny bit of texture from the faux grain, which makes it more interesting than plain white but not a distraction. If you specifically want a white faux wood grain paper where the grain is in silver color or a contrasting color to white, however, this isn’t the product for you.I learned some tricks during installation that may help you. First, do not peel the entire paper backing off the piece you are installing at the beginning. Peel off about 1/3 of the paper from the piece, then adhere the exposed paper onto the cabinet or whatever item you are covering and press it down to adhere. Then slowly peel a little more of the paper off and press down the newly exposed paper onto your item. This will help with accuracy of paper placement, lessen air bubbles, and largely avoid the problem of the paper falling on itself and sticking to itself. Once the paper sticks to itself it’s pretty impossible to separate without ripping. Second, buy a cheap wallpaper tool kit that comes with a small plastic smoother and small roller. I bought one on Amazon for less than $15 and those 2 tools were very helpful to smooth air bubbles and get the paper to adhere strongly. If you try to use other tools or random items around your house to smooth the paper (like I did!) you will likely rip the paper because it’s pretty thin. The wallpaper tools are built to be gentle with paper so I recommend using them.If you install the paper lightly and need to reposition it, you should be able to adjust it once or twice (I did this a few times). But any more than that and the paper is likely to become too stuck to the surface for you to move it, or it will rip. I didn’t find this to be a major problem. But if your project requires that the paper be installed perfectly so you will need to reposition it a lot while installing, this may be a problem.I installed the paper a few days ago and it isn’t peeling anywhere or showing any air bubbles, so the adhesive seems to be working well.Overall I am happy with this adhesive paper given it was affordable and seems to be sticking to the inside of my cabinets well. Although I bought two rolls of the 15.7 x 118 inch size (which should have been enough for my area, as I measured how much I would need before ordering), I ran out before I could finish the ceiling of the cabinet, so I’ve ordered one more roll to finish it. Altogether I will have spent about $27 to put the paper on the kitchen cabinet shelves and back of the cabinet (with probably 3/4 of a roll leftover). It would have been cheaper to paint the inside of the cabinets but I didn’t want to deal with paint and this was a quicker fix. Some pieces of the installed paper aren’t “perfect,” like some of the bottoms of the shelves had air bubbles that didn’t smooth out but instead formed little creases (see pics for examples). But ultimately you can’t see those imperfections now that the project is finished and I’ve put my dinnerware and food items back in the cabinet. If you are contemplating using this paper for a different kind of project where the paper must be installed perfectly, however, you may want to try a different brand that is thicker.

Ok
I tried to use this as a backdrop. I had to keep adjusting and smoothing to get this product to stick.

See through!
This stuff is great!! It’s easy to install and to remove. I had no problems with it pulling up paint or anything like that. One thing I did notice is that it’s see through. I put it on white cabinets and you could see every blemish underneath. I think this stuff would work amazingly as long as you have a blank canvas!!

its ok
The design is amazing, the application not so good very time consuming as the product is very thin. It would depend on where you will need to apply it. Strong adhesive.

Very thin
While the design of this removable wallpaper is accurate, the paper itself is pretty thin making it see through and also meaning that it tears easily.I found it a little difficult to work with due to its thinness and I can’t confidently say that I’d recommend it to others either.

Love the Wood tone look.
I previously ordered Black wood tone and liked it so much I got the white to cover my window cills since my dog is always sitting up there and it gets dirty and stained, I covered them now I can just wipe it clean.. Great deal.

Looks great but....
I love the way it looks. It was pretty easy to install (I covered an ikea bookshelf). I really like the result but there is a "but"... it is definitely not ideal to cover a table, sountertop or desk, basically surfaces used often. It is plastified paper and very delicate. I am thinking of trying to add a coat of finish on it to protect it therwise it will get distroyed in no time. Overall pretty good product.

Not sticky enough!
This is pretty good: it looks good and it's pretty easy to use BUT, I find that on small surfaces, like the edges of a desk, or the edges of drawers, the adhesive is not strong enough and it keeps lifting. For that reason, I give it 3 stars. If you just want to apply on top of a big surface and so not have to cover edges, this will work quite well.

Overall a very good product
I'm very satisfied overall - used the adhesive film to revamp the dated-looking wood veneer closet doors. The film is good thickness, the wood design is very realistic looking and the pattern is not too repetitive to be obvious. It was easy to install as the film adhesion indeed allows for adjustments during the installation without stretching or tearing (but if you leave it on for a day or so, the bond strengthens so you won't be able to pull it off that easily anymore). Now I have a brand-new looking sliding door closet for a fraction of the cost of replacing the doors.

Bubbles & is very thin.
I do not recommend this product at all. I bought this because the furniture I needed to cover was unfinished and one that I bought on Aliexpress was taking long to come and I didn’t want to wait. Not waiting proved to be a mistake because this one is poor quality. It bubbles and wrinkles and tears much easier than the one I’d bought on Aliexpress in the past. Not only that, but this one was also much thinner; probably why it bubbles so much.On a tiny project it might be okay, like a little box or something, but on real furniture like a desk, a shelf or anything remotely large this product is bad quality.

Very Easy to Use with the Right Tools
Purchased the contact paper to "re-cover" a wood medicine cabinet and shelves in a bathroom. Time consuming because of all the various aspects, however the paper was easy to work with, particularly since I purchased a Wall Paper Hand Tool Kit that comes with a very sharp cutting tool and smoothing tool. Not yet completed, so I have not taken a photo yet. I would buy this contact paper again, and in fact have. I needed a second roll to complete the project. Good luck with yours!
