Wella Koleston Perfect ME+ Permanent Creme Hair Color (99/0 Intense Very Light Blonde/Natural) Pack of 2

I am a professional hairdresser...been in business for about 20 years. I've been using Wella for about 12 years now. Wella changed their formula in early 2020. I see some of your reviews about the color turning purple during the 40 minute processing period and that is completely normal. If the color has a slight purple hue that is the new formula. New FDA regulations required all color lines, professional and over the counter, to remove a particular ingredient from their products. That being said....I've tried for almost two weeks now to get a color I need TO DO MY JOB and it's been out of stock. I've tried to order it from Wella directly or my beauty supply and nothing. However it's been on Amazon. So, push came to shove and I ordered it....what came? The old formula...so litterly what I ordered is over 2 years old. How in the hell can Amazon sell something that I've had to go to school to learn to use? What is the point of my professional license? We need to have MSDS sheets because this is a CHEMICAL! For all you using this at home please, I emplore you, find a local independent hairdresser to support and stop being cheap doing your own hair. Stop buying professional products on here. People pay thousands of dollars on education and products to provide that for people. I'm beyond frustrated and ready to just quit the business over this.

First time doing my roots at home (with help) and I couldn't be happier. I've always trusted Wella and this didn't disappoint. I wish we had dragged it through at the end then it would've been absolutely perfect, but we'll do that next time. I used 20 volume developer with a one to one ratio. A postal scale was perfect for weighing the ingredients, and I got the better brushes as I read it makes a difference with coverage. 35 minute set time, and wet the hairline at the end and massaged it around to "emulsify" (whatever that means) and let it sit another 2 minutes or so, then washed twice then conditioned. I watched a lot of Youtube videos. Thank you Wella.

I have been using Wella Koleston Perfect color for years. I use the Well Koleston developer. I know what I am doing. The color swatch on wella.com for this color is a light blonde. As you can see by my photo, it is BROWN! I wanted a light blonde/natural color like the length of my hair. I am very disappointed. If I could give it zero stars I would. Do not buy this if you are looking for a blonde color.

I WAS A LONG TIME USING 12/81 ALL VAT WELL, UNTIL ONE DAY I STARTED TO STAIN MY HAIR PURPLE I HAD TO CHANGE THE COLOR AND FROM THE SAME BRAND I FINISHED MY HAIR MY HAIR WAS LIGHT I HAD TO PAINT IT DARKER TO COVER THE PURPLE

I knew when I purchased this thst the color was much darker than dark blonde, its more like an intense dark brown. But I like the color, doesn't fade as fast as the other brand I used. Have been using for 5 or 6 months. Will keep using!

I ordered 2 packs. Each pack is supposed to contain two of these. So, I ordered 2 packs of 2. 3 of them were correct, the right color. One of them was 9/00 wella very light natural blonde. I am still missing one tube of the 6/1 dark blonde/ash. Of course, I had already started using the product and dying my hair. I am using it on gray hair so after 30 minutes, when my hair didn't change colors, I looked at the box and it was 9/00. I check the other tubes I bought. They were all accurate the color I actually bought (6/1). I obviously can't return it since I already used it. I don't know how to contact the seller for a replacement or refund. I used to buy this product from a different seller but they were low on the color I wanted and I always buy more than 1 2-pack so I decided to give this seller a try. Very disappointed!

For many years I have been using this particular dye for coloring my hair, namely # 6/1. Very nice chocolate color, no redness. I highly recommend it. Shades gray hair well
