Great product for sealing seams or gaps in your pond
I highly recommend this product for sealing seams or gaps in your pond. I used it around a leaky waterfall feature. It went on easily using a caulk gun and remained very flexible once it cured after 30 minutes.

I wanted to give this 5 stars.... BUT
I'm no stranger to aquarium sealant or using silicone on tanks. My first impression of this sealant was AWESOME. It is hard to get out of the tube. I kept making the hole bigger and bigger but it's just really thick compared to the usual clear sealant. I'm assuming that is due to the black coloring. No big deal. I was sealing the outside of a leaky acrylic frog tank. The overall smell of the sealant is no worse then the regular clear aquarium stuff. Honestly, I think it smells LESS then the clear stuff!Besides being slow to come out of the tube it was going on VERY smooth. About 1/2 way around my tank I'm thinking just how great this looks and .... BAMYou have to put so much pressure to get it to come OUT of the tube that it busted the bottom of the tub clean open. Leaving a blobby mess. Now I'm not sure what to do as I have a huge blob of sealant hanging out the bottom so I decided to start trying to layer that around the bottom of my tank rather then waste it. That's when things just got messy.Be warned this sealant dries FASTER then the clear stuff. By the time I got the blob layered around the rest of my tank it was starting to dry and get grainy. At this point it was the best I could do with the disaster. Now I have 2 more tanks to do and I haven't decided if it's worth using the black stuff or just switching to the clear. It does look nicer on the black bottom rim so maybe I'll order another tube and try again.

Apply liberally
After using a variety of different products trying to patch a hole in our outdoor pond this was the winner! It was easy to use, dried and cured quickly, and the only thing that has worked to keep our pond liner from leaking. I put a 3 inch screw in the tip to cap the remaining product from drying out. We’re very happy with this product
