It is exactly the correct size for me. I work at home in a basement office away from the kitchen fridge and wanted an ice bucket for my soda throughout the day. Perfect.However, it is not nearly as well insulated as I had hoped it would be. With today’s technology manufacturing insulated items I expected better. I have coffee mugs and swag company tumblers that are better insulated than this.If you are going to use your ice fast, this will be fine. If you expect your ice to last the day, you may want something different. Since holding ice is its primary function, I can’t give it more than 3 stars.

When opened, the ice bucket is much smaller than I expected it to be. (Although if I had looked at at description and dimensions carefully I would have known that.) It is great for a small gathering of a few people or for drinks that dont need a lot of ice. (Everyone can use a few cubes in a glass of whiskey, but there isn't enough ice for mixed drinks unless you plan on refilling bucket frequently)

Love this little bucket. Perfect size for one ot two people. Just what I needed for a couple of drinks on the dock at sunset. Picture shows size perspective. Sturdy and well made. Good heavy guage material. Quality item.

Love the size of the ice bucket. Ice cubes remain frozen for a long time even outside in 80 degree plus temps.I like the raised removable drainage base that keeps cubes from floating in melted water, not that melting has occurred. And it's beautiful.

Looks lovely it’s much smaller than I had anticipated. Would be great fir chilling a bottle of champagne, won’t hold much ice for gatherings
