This book is too brief. There's not enough about colonial life or the Revolutionary War, and much of the information presented on these topics is in the form of direct quotes in the actual language of the 1700s. I wanted more history; what I got was a list of materials and supplies ordered for buildings. If that's not bad enough, there were numerous typos. This book should be free...but it still wouldn't be worth it.

Okay, but wish I wouldn't have wasted my time

Short, too short, seems hastily put together. However, it's worth a quick read if you want a thumbnail history of the town

Great place - loved the reenactments and that you can walk through at no cost!

Tiny thin paperback...not at all what I was expecting.

not what I wanted .. I was looking for a more historical book not a bio .
