NanoBoard 3000 Modular Enclosure (Grey)

I didn't buy this enclosure at first. But I had a hard time transporting my NB3000 between work and home. I eventually broke the LCD connector and bought this enclosure for safety.This enclosure is way nicer and more flexible than I could have imagined. It includes a different LCD that can support an optional side panel for extending the board buttons and (tri-color) LEDs to sit nicely along side the LCD display. it's only missing an extension of the Reset button than can often be useful. I have to instead use the soft reset from my computer connected over the USB, or the rear power Off/On switch (which also clears the memory).The enclosure can be mounted on feet pads, two rail feet (my choice) or vertically using an edge mount. The video shows the vertical mounts fitting over top one end of each of the rail feet, but I found it wasn't possible as the mount doesn't open far enough. You had to use one or the other. Also, it was hard to remove the vertical support because the foot pad gets stuck in the vertical support, so you can't just pull it open as the foot pad goes with it and can't release from the hole in the box - a minor flaw. But it also only takes a second to remove the top cover to get access to all elements on the NB3000.The enclosure provides nice openings for all the connections, such as power, USB, Ethernet, RS232, MIDI on the back and keyboard, mouse, 3 USB inputs, one USB connection, a volume knob and SD card reader on the front.The enclosure also includes a wall mount template, as well as a connector piece to allow two nanoboard to be connected side by side. Overkill really.I've battle tested the enclosure by putting it in my soft luggage for a trip from California to Germany and back. No issue. (And the NB3000 works fine in Germany as long as you have an adaptor or take the right card included in the kit). No damage whatsoever in all the travel.I now wished I had bought this enclosure right at the start. It's very nice. I'm now programming it to become an alarm clock to wake with music on with my SD card and rotating graphic display of family, as well as other functions when traveling.
