After careful installation, we were able to get this floor outlet in the perfect spot in our cabin. The black finish looks great with the flooring and the wood. You can plug in your devices and close the top covers — you only see your device wires coming out of the box so it has a clean and sleek look. Highly recommend this item.

The box looks great after install, it sticks up a little higher than I would like. Good quality materials, works as it should. Theo only draw back is the door( receptacle cover) is hard to open and needs a tool to pry it up.

This product was exactly what we needed! We've been running an extension cord under the rug for two years. I know, I know, that's dangerous, but we had no choice......until now! Now that bump in the carpet is gone and no more fire hazard!!! This is NOT a simple DIY project and you'll need skills and tools that most don't have. If you don't have these tools and skills, you'll need to hire a professional to install it for you. It looks good and solved a huge problem for us!

Used for floorbox outlet under kitchen table. Also to plug in grommet type use-ac outlet at table for absolute convenience. Use the template to cut out the hole for the box. Easily adjusts to proper floor height.When unlatching the cover, use a small screwdriver to pry the cover plate open. Do not force. Also make sure you have enough clearances under floor and away from any joists also. Mine is installed through ceramic tiled floor. But with proper tools it’s easy peasy. Purchased the grommet usb- outlet from Amazon also. Great products. Very pleased with both items.

I installed 2 of these receptacles with USB ports. The USB-C port will not charge any of my Apple products (phones and iPads) in my household but does work with a generic battery. The USB-A port does charge all devices. Both units were also missing one color matched screw. Two calls to Technical Support have not been returned. As noted in many other reviews, the provided Template does not accurately represent the product in either box. ***Update 11/22/24 - I did reach Tech Support who was very helpful. The problem lies with the higher wattage devices which include most in my house. I can say Iphone 13 was good but anything with a USB C port is suspect so call before purchase. Raco as well as others that sell USB outlets need to start treating them as “electronics” and provide compatibility statements (just like the charger guys) or at a minimum output wattage. Until then, buyer beware.
