Pro-Force Equine Fly Mask - Horse Fly Mask with UV Protection - Adjustable Fit for Comfort - Without Ears

Bought two of these one for my American quarter horse gelding and the other for my Appaloosa mare. The mask was a bit too small for my gelding but fit my mare so well I kept both. Mask banding is a chocolate brown. The banding is thick and padded for comfort. It has caused a small rub on my mares brow but adjusting the hook and loop closure has reduced the rub. The hook and loop closure is secure so pasture mates cannot pull the mask off. The closure is short, would better if it were an inch or two longer. Mesh is a nice tight weave to block the sun and bugs. soak or soft brush. Overall good quality and would recommend and will buy again.

Exactly as shown. I’m sure it would fit well on most of any horse and the Velcro holds tight, even through itching and rubbing. Great for healing eyes sensitive to uvb, my mare was a happy one!

First off, order a size up!! If you think it’s going to fit your horse, it’s not. Order the next size up, no question about it, you can thank me later! The full horse size is perfect for a large welsh pony with a small head that’s weighs 800lbs. It would not velcro around my 1,000lb refined 15.3 hand mare. That is between a cob and horse size in every other fly mask, halter and bridle. Besides that, this is a great fly mask. The mesh is nice smooth, thick and durable, but also breathable and doesn’t make their faces sweaty even in the Texas heat. Very easy to clean off and I love the brown/beige color. It looks super classy! It stays on very well and has not taken any damage or shows any signs of wear after 2 months of daily use. Minus 1 star because the size is very deceiving and I had to order another one since it was so small. Maybe that’s their sales strategy though. (Harhar)

Great fly mask for an excellent price. I bought 4 of these when they are priced at $11.22 I was thinking for the price if they were any good at all it would be worth it. I was pleasantly surprised this fly mask is top quality heavy duty plastic woven material just as good as any other more expensive brand out there. I have had horses 30 years so I have seen them all. Fits all our average sized horses well. The ear covering material is a lighter weight softer material than the face material so it won't bother their ears. Very comfortable for the horse. However, since it is thinner, if you have thorns or barbed wire it can tear if it gets caught. But there really isn't another way to make a fly mask with ears without using softer material on the ears. The closure is a double velcro throat latch. Very secure! None of my horses have ever been able to get the mask off. It also has a nice feature on the velcro attachment where you can write the horse's names so you can keep track of which horse wore it last. The final feature is the reflective patch on the nose. We have found this beneficial when trying to locate horses in the pasture after dark. All you have to do is shine a flashlight around and the bright reflector can easily be seen from a good distance away. Nice safely feature too. All in all it is a top quality product, could be sold for twice the price and be totally worth it.

I bought this mask for my stallion. He's the destroyer of fly masks, and what is awesome about this particular design, he can snag it, but it doesn't rip or leave a gaping hole. I would say this mask is highly durable, the velcro is strong enough to hold securely, and the fit is AWESOME if your horse has a baby doll show head. My stallion does have a small baby doll head so I am pleased with the fit. I will add that this mask probably will not fit an average sized head so consider this mask a cob or Arab size if that helps in purchasing. Anyhow, I am very happy with the quality and bought more of these since the price is very fair. CHEERS!!

Holds up great. My horse can never rip this fly mask off. Great for in the trailer also.

These are well made fly masks although the sizing is questionable, otherwise I would have given 5 stars! Add says fits horses 900 - 1200 lbs, barely fit one of my geldings and the other cannot wear it all! I Can’t return as I wrote names on both masks before trying them on. I Won’t be doing that again,lol. IMO, these would fit much smaller horses, Arab, quarter pony etc..

Very well made but too small for my quarter horses. Better suited to Arabian or cob sized horses.

Do not do this fly mask up tight I found the darts where the eyes go if done up tight presses right down on the horse’s eyelids

My horse loves it! I thought she’d be scared of the Velcro but for some reason she never spooked once and insists on wearing it. The material has great structure, stops it from collapsing into her eye. Great product.
