Spot-on excellent.
Let me tell you right off the bat the pictures don't do it just justice. I used to live in Madrid, Spain so I speak from a lot of experience, having bounced from market to market trying all types and brands of their local meats. I am a chef at heart so taste is of the utmost importance. The meat had an excellent translucence from the curing process. The flavor was even better, as it had a nutty note with the perfect amount of salt. (excellent balance). I will definitely be back for more. Thank you for making this available state-side.

Too salty, what a shame!
It has the typical flavor and "perfume" of an Iberico de Bellota but those "lose the battle" against the absolutely disappointing excess saltiness of the product. After just a few small (hand cut) pieces the salt overwhelms the palate. What a shame...

Iberico ham no customer service
The ham was so tough you had to cut into small pieces and then were unable to chew it into digestible state. ( SPIT IT OUT ) this company thinks 100 percent of the product is perfect. Don’t deal with these guys

SIMPLY THE BEST AT AFFORDABLE PRICE
Holy Smoke! This version of the fabled Iberico de Bellota Spanish Ham is AMAZING!!! I’ve tried other Iberico jams and this is by far the very best! Nutty, sweet, moist and just simply delicious! This Blazquez brand is a lot better than the more popular 5J Iberico Hams that cost $400-500 more. Try this brand and you will NEVER go wrong!By the way? I rarely post reviews unless I’m impressed or completely not satisfied. Great product!

It was not good value
I found it to have an excessive amount of fat versus other Pata Negra

This is not a Pata Negra
Pata negra in Spain means 100% Ibérico Ham, this is 50% Ibérico ham, it has to have black sticker that is the Real Pata Negra, this is not a PATA NEGRA

Excellent quality
I am so impressed with this Iberico! Fantastic taste. I used to order another brand which is out of stock https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GXH4U3C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I asked the seller if this was similar and I was told this was even better and a larger leg. Both are true! It is more tender than the other brand with excellent mature Iberico taste. Will definitely buy this again.
