Trap Wax, no surprises.
Just what it says it is... Probably Paraffin wax, works fine, no noticeable odor, or maybe a hint of that petroleum smell, that disappears as it cools and solidifies. Helps lubricate traps for a while too.

Being brand new to trapping, I can't tell you ...
Being brand new to trapping, I can't tell you about the difference in brands, but after I dyed my new traps and then sealed them in wax they are sealed and ready to reduce the squirrel population on my property.
