It Works!
What a crazy tool. A stiff wire used to stir peanut butter. But, it works! Just shove it down into the jar and start turning it. It is way easier to use than a spoon or knife. It is thin enough that it churns through the stiff nut butter (I use it for almond butter, which is even stiffer than peanut butter). It doesn't cause the oil on top to slosh out, but just stirs it right in. And in just a minute, you natural peanut butter is well-stirred and completely mixed. And when you are done you just run it through the scraper card that comes with and it cleans right up (you still need to wash it, of course). So - Easy to use. Effective. Way better at the task it is designed for than anything else you would use. Cheap. Easy to clean. It's not something I would have thought of, but I'm really glad that I found it. If you buy or make nut butters, you need this.

Great tool for Natural Peanut butter fans!
I love the peanut butter that is simply peanuts and salt with no added oils or sugar but the draw back has always been that it separates while sitting on the shelf. No matter what I used spoon, knife or spatula I couldn't get it mixed enough so some parts of the jar would be runny like syrup and other parts would be dry, stiff and hard to spread. And then there's the mess of oil on the counter and the entire outside of the jar. Well no more! This simple tool is perfect. Just the right size to fit in the jar from side to side and top to bottom. It does an amazing job of thoroughly blending the contents of the entire jar. The handy scraper cleans the tool completely leaving all the contents inside the jar so not wasteful and NO MESS at all. I debated spending the money for this simple thing but it is a game changer and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

A tight fit for a smaller jar but I still recommend it.
I would give this a solid 4.5 stars. It 100 percent works as advertised. While the description clearly says that the stirrer is for 26-30 oz jars, I think that youโre missing out on a section of the market that buys the smaller, 16 oz jars for whatever reason โ single people and/or those who donโt go through nut butter quickly enough to warrant buying larger jars. The instructions are straightforward. I followed them to the letter ending with storing the nut butter (I used cashew) in the refrigerator after stirring. When I got it out this morning, it was still wonderfully blended but was super easy to spread โ the consistency wasnโt like butter which can get hard as a rock. The stirrer works as advertised โ albeit a tight fit. I would absolutely recommend it.

Works very well if you follow the directions
I still am pouring off a bit of the oil from the top of my super oily Nutzo organic 7 seed butter before I start. Before I had this stirrer, I would pour ALL of the oil off the top and then end up with the last 1/4 like a rock. But when I incorporated ALL of the oil in the stirring process, the consistency was too thin for spreading. Now I have the proportions right so that I can use every last bit of the nutbutter.

Better results and easier than I can with a knife
+ Cleaner to stir. Stirring a new jar of peanut butter with a knife virtually guarantees you're cleaning peanut butter or peanut oil off the counter/floor/your clothes. With this stirrer, we haven't generated any splash. + Leverage is clever. It's pretty fool-proof to use. If you crank the wrong direction, the tool will spin around to the correct position. + Mixing with with the EZPB stirrer generated more completely mixed peanut butter than I can with a knife. I surmise this is because there are multiple waves of aluminum passing through the peanut butter at all levels. + Credit-card-shaped cleaner is brilliant -- really does help get most of the peanut butter off the stirrer back into the jar. Really, no negatives experienced so far. What peanut butter remains on the cleaner and the stirrer is a bit hard to clean up but no more than what you'd clean with a knife. Note: We used this on Kirkland/Costco brand peanut butters and works like a charm there. We switched to natural because there's something awesome about eating something with only two ingredients in the ingredient list! Now, this stirrer makes that decision even easier.

Not stainless steel
Works great until the aluminum oxidizes and gets fuzzy after a year or two. Then black residue on top of the jar afterwards. Would buy again only if made of stainless steel.

Bought one, then another
Iโve been trying to eat more plants and there are some nut butters out there that have no added sugar and salt. So, I bought one knowing I was going to try first and test results. Well, I love it. 1) made in the USA 2) small business 3) foolproof 4) idiot proof (hard to misuse) 5) worked amazingly well with a punishingly settled nut butter that was in the fridge! 6) did a masterful job mixing in a handful of spices, pea protein and even tahini and tamarind paste 7) all without spilling from the small jar (from which Iโd removed nada) Powders - spices, pea protein, etc - almost homogenize it, so it makes this particularly useful. High five to the simplicity and ingenuity: a reasonable price for an unbreakable device.

Made of Aluminum! Messy! Awkward to Use!
I had high hopes. This product is bad on so many levels: 1. It's made of Aluminum. I don't care what the FDA says - Aluminum is not safe for food. 2. Must be washed before use. I forgot (or didn't read directions). I noticed my fingers were black after stirring a jar of peanut butter. That's when I realized it was made of Aluminum. Had to throw away the whole jar of peanut butter. 3. Awkward and difficult to use. Trying to turn it without spilling peanut butter over the sides of the jar is futile. Takes a lot of effort to turn handle and hold jar. 4. It doesn't even do a good job of stirring. Leaves large chunks that need to be broken up by lifting and lowering the stirrer into the jar repeatedly. This causes peanut butter to spill over side. Just horrible design. Threw it in the garbage. Going to buy the Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Stirrer from Lehman's. It's made from stainless steel and has a lid to keep the peanut butter in the jar.

As promised it does spin and stir to the designed purpose. Thanks.

However, it would be much usefull if it comes in different sizes, in order to fit the small jars as well.
