This paint is good stuff! That stuff you buy at the car parts store can't hold a candle to this stuff! Every once in a great while you run into a product that just superior to everything else you have tried. The color match is extremely good, but that is not everything. You get a really nice set of small brushes, some gloves, and a small card to use to match paint. I bought the first sew about 4 weeks ago. My car is an Attitude Black 16 Camry former rental car with 46000 miles on it. It looked like it had been driven on oiled chat roads. The bumper and hood front felt like sandpaper. In one 8” by 14” spot I counted 125 paint spots on my first pass and only got about half of them. I have about 75% of the panels done now including the hood, and the car looks utterly amazing. I have achieved utter invisibility in well over 99 % of the holes! Undetectable by touch and any angle of sight! And from a foot away! Some of the holes have taken 15 to 20 coats of paint or more to fill, as I am still working on the remaining 1%. It takes a LOT of time, willingness to do something what seems like a million times, extremely careful polishing with a diaper, and mostly just spit as the compound. Since in the process I have essentially spit shined everything and then apply a really good wax, the finished panels look better than new while my car has kept its original paint. Since I now have nothing but time, this seems like a good way to spend it. I have since bout six other kits, 2 extra black (used 1 ½ jars already and they give you a lot of paint) Classic silver for the wheels, paint for my other two cars, and a different silver I have mixed with a touch of black to match the grey paint in my grille. I swear this has raised the value of my car several thousand dollars. Incredible! I love this stuff!!

Water based paint, that washes right off. I tried three times to apply, but it just doesn't stick and any polish compound makes it turn into a soft paste.

For anything but the smallest repair, I find it useful to be able to polish up the brush marks (or any imperfection of a touch up with very fine wet sanding in between coats or sometimes just before clear coat. Even after waiting a couple of days, this base paint does not dry hard enough to stand up to wet sanding. Perhaps the clear layer would, though I was not able to get that far. Also (worth knowing) that it completely dissolves when exposed to alcohol as a cleaner, even when fully dry. Prior experience with other touch-up paint formulations have not displayed these limitations.My repair area was about 1/2 inch wide, 2 inches long.The color match was truly excellent. This product might work well for a very narrow scratch.For this repair, I switched to a color matched spray paint instead.

The Perfectly Matched Lexus Atomic Silver, Clearcoat, Primer, are of perfect viscosity for someone like me. Test Card Proves it. This is not the gooey, thick stuff you get with a auto parts touch up cylinder. At 80K miles, I'm evaluating my approach to a couple of rock dings on the forward slope of my hood. I can tell the small chips in the front dam will be a systematic breeze with a toothpick, or by using the great applicators that are included.

I need paint to touch up on the bumper of my Atomic Silver Lexus. Before placing the order, I ask a question and the seller confirm it would match. Howver, when the product came and I tried, it did not match. The color is lighter than Lexus Atomic Silver.

It's kind of beginner friendly, but also not.Paint is not forgiving to errors, and practice is limited from the amount of brushes (clean them soon enough and you can save it).Color will unlikely match 100% but it's close by about 95% which is a blessing.

I honestly didn’t expect it to work as much as it did. Shipped within 2 days too. The paint actually covers scratches with one solid brush stroke, it also dried extremely fast for the clear coat to go on. It came with different brush sizes which helped a lot and the bottles will last me a long time for sure. Would highly recommend. Definitely helped hide the huge/deep scratches in my car.

The color was a near perfect match, however the lines where the paint was used can clearly be seen due to the brush marks of the paint and clear coat. Still looks better than the scratches though, and will prevent further chiping and rust from where the deep scratches were.
