Great Starter Set and Easy to Work With
This is a really nice starter set for oil painting. The colors are good quality, easy to mix, and have a smooth consistency thatโs easy to work with. Itโs perfect if youโre just getting into oils or want something reliable without spending a ton. Overall, a solid set that does exactly what you need it to.

Smooth
This set provides a variety of colors and is great for beginners or those who don't mix colors to make their own color. The quality seems good, and the dried paint looks good. Also, it covers well. For the sizes provided, the price seemed competitive.

Great paint
This paint has worked very well for me. Great quality, I have no complaints. The paint is very thick, not runny at all. This is a great starter kit if you're unable to get the bigger pack.

Great Colors and Smooth Texture, But a Bit Overpriced
Winsor & Newtonโs Winton Oil Colors offer rich pigments and a smooth, easyโtoโblend texture that makes painting genuinely enjoyable. They perform reliably across different surfaces and are excellent for hobby artists or learners who want consistent results. The only drawback is the price โ it feels a little high for what is essentially a midโtier paint line. Still, the overall quality is solid, making it a good choice if you donโt mind paying a bit extra.

I haven't used the paint to paint, yet.
I'm giving five stars for #1: The Honest Video describing the difference between their higher priced colors, and these colors, which just have less color than their brother color, not lesser color, or another color, which is nice to know. That means when I do eventually get the spendy paint baubles, they will be the exact same color I grew accustomed to, and I assume they know this wins them a loyal customer forever or they probably wouldn't have a very good reason to make an oil paint that's not as pigmented and that I can afford to waste with bad mixes and straight up grayish purple mud I have to scrape the canvas to remove. I thank these lovely people for not allowing nubes like me to be relegated to inconsistent batches, runny or dried-up microscopic tubes of time extended scarlet, cadmium, and crimson confusion. Day 1: I saw a painting of an ocean wave that was fabulous, so I mixed a series of blues from the deepest ocean blue with a purple tinge to that lovely, liminescent light aqua you see when the sun shines through water. I used my own titanium white that I made with titanium dioxide powder and purified "boiled" linseed oil. Hey, I'm new. Like 20 mediocre oil paintings new. And I use a lot of white trying to rush highlights because I just don't seem to listen to myself when I start really getting to it. I'll make a dozen really cool, unique, and even inspired-looking paintings while on my journey of ruining all of them. At least it isn't a $100 "ruining session", and it's implanting the right, recreatable color mixes in my auto-play. If I get the Artist Colors, my auto-splishy-smoosh will be rewarded by more color instead of having to learn color mixing again with expensive paint. That's going to save me so much time, so much paint, and so much wasted work once I finally stop painting when I should stop, not just when I run out of paint or time or something to wipe by brush off with. Good, cheaper oils. I am so brand loyal, they won my artistic soul over with honesty, disclosure, and transparency in sharing their different "level" processes. The video that's linked in one of the product images is a very refreshing truth nugget, if anyone hasn't seen it. I'm all in.

Qualidade boa
As tintas vem um pouquinho mais oleosas do que as que sรฃo vendidas em tubos maiores. Fora isso, a qualidade permanece muito boa.

Best Beginner's Set I've Found
Lots of choices, but Winsor & Newton has a good history, so that's where I jumped in. I'm not disappointed. I'll share a tip I learned from a painter and instructor in New York: Over 80% of your painting will utilize white in its color blendings. So if you spring for the highest quality white you can afford, then using it will raise the quality of all your colors. So a top quality titanium white with this set of paints is for me a boon for my development.
