This product is sturdy, comfortable to use, has a nicely made handle and is easy to clean. We purchased a spatula with the same quality attributes at the same time from the same supplier and both are obviously superior to similar products found in stores and also on Amazon and other online sources. We have had similar products fail a week or two after use. These two products are not similar to those and we expect them to last a long time. It even looks nice hanging out with our other cooking tools.We purchased these products and did not receive them free. My wife cooks with a wok often and has done so with her family since she was a child. She continues teaching me various techniques used when cooking with a wok. She is very particular with the tools she uses and is quite pleased with these. Lucky for me. We use the spatula and slotted spoon often with other cooking methods. We are very pleased with our purchase of these two cooking tools.

Not suitable for the dishwasher as the finish on the wood handle will wear off immediately. The handle twists off, but then you should not want the hardware exposed in the dishwasher either. No worries. It actually handwashes very nicely. A nicer piece of heavy-duty serviceware should be cared for. It feels great for large stews etc. I plan to purchase another.

This spoon has rapidly become a favorite tool in my kitchen.It is a joy to hold the nice wood handle, and feel the weighty heft of the metal handle... Such Great Craftsmanship!

A perfect cooking tool for my 15-year-old wok. Great for scooping up boiled dumplings, pasta, potatoes, and eggs, etc. Perfect size for me and I love the heat resistant long wooden handle.

I bought this one specifically because the photo said it was 3.2 inches in diameter.It's not. It's 5+ inches. What a waste.However if you want a 5+ inch skimmer spoon, this one looks pretty good quality.
