KaiyodoRevoltech Action Figure - 045 - Type-J9 Griffon w/ Aqua Unit

I love anything Japanese/anime/sci-fi. On seeing this I was drooling! Looking like a black armored demon and I wanted to have this figure really badly. Seeing the price a bit lower I took a chance.Today it arrived.So I'm writing this review for the other fans / fiends out there-here goes:REVOLTECH YAMAGUCHI TYPE-J9 GRIFFON with AQUAUNIT series 045The Box- Three colored with extensive writing all in japanese except the product title and a few small indictors. There are small pictures seeming to explain (I assume) how the Revoltech joints operate and the extras included with the figure such as the stand. There are 2 alerts concerning the figures , one a lengthy but important choking hazard alert with age recommendations (no one younger than 3!) and another stating that it is an ADULT COLLECTIBLE but yet is also described as a ACTION FIGURE! There's also an banner strip around the box with details about other products from the company. Even with the box being in another language there's a fair amount of no verbal info to get from it and there's also a small fold-out with additional products as well.THE FIGURE; SIZE : It was much smaller than I expected, I blame myself for not picking up on exactly how truly small it is. Very disappointing. PAINT/ APPEARENCE: It is really very much how it looks, a glossy black with detailing in orange, silver grey and red. Sadly because of the size some of the smaller details such as the eyes/visor are difficult to see. It's still impressive at it's size very formable ands angry looking The Revoltech joint systems gives the figure a wide range of movement with over 12 joints it allows for poses that a lot of other figures can't perform. EXTRAS: In the set are 7 hands: 2 R/L claws, 2 R/L fists, 2 R/L gun holding hands and one "thumbs up" right hand. Honestly the hand are very small and do not have the feeling of something you want to change out on a regular basis let alone have too much contact with. The hands are very detailed and the claws especially look great but changing them is scary . The pegs are very small and kinda fragile looking and feeling! The gun looks to be a .357 and is highly detailed for its size , sadly there's nowhere to put it on the figure when not in use the same with the extra hands. The stand comes in 3 pieces /parts a "V" shaped base a tall jointed arm and a small pegged block. The arm /"V" base supports the figure in a lot of crazy cool poses without a problem! It's fairly steady with the figure on it but I wouldn't trust it anywhere around kids or frisky pets or a lot of shaking or bumping occurs. BTW if anyone knows how the 2nd block works with the stand please post it, I've been staring at the box's pictogram which shows it attached to the "V" stand but I have no clue how the figure attaches! There are also 2 AQUA-UNIT modules that attach to the figures back like a jetpack, they're very solid but on mine the color don't really match the box's color at all.Bottomline: It's small and not as solid as I would like (joint wise) but is a good looking and very flexible, posable figure. Is it worth the price paid? Honestly no, perhaps if it was a bit larger say the size of a standard action figure maybe I'd feel a little less taken for a ride. For collectors with shelves and display cases it's okay. Definitely not a action figure!

It's a great figure, just wish it included a little more though- like a second pistol and wing options from the previous figure. either way it's still looks sweet ^w^...still, it doesn't have enough possibility like other revol's like the gurren lagann figures

Kaiyodo revoltech figures are not for small children , So dont purchase it for a small child then blame the company or vendor because your figure is delicate . These figures feature over 30 points of articulation are highly detailed and come with additional hands, a 357 revolver and a posing stand as well as two detachable rocket packs . These are made for older kids and adult collectors who want detail and super cool figures !!

I received this exactly when it said it was supposed to be here and was happily surprised to see there were no dents in the box what so ever the figure is easily poseable and very fun overall

良く動いて好きなポーズをとらせらことが出来るのが良かったです。強いて言えば塗装が少し雑。

作中で一番デザインが好きな機体だったので購入。一部ジョイントがきつく感じるところがありますがポーズをとる範囲では許容範囲だと思いました。個人的には値段にしては出来が良く大満足です。

初期不良品、首が右に曲がっている、ジョイントを付け替えたりしたが直らない、まぁこの金額なら我慢するしか無いか

同タイミングで１号機、２号機＆グリフォンも購入！　かなり気に入ってます！！　タチコマも探さねば！！

イングラムの１・２号機に続いて購入造形は良いです！色もツヤツヤしててなかなか良いですですが取扱いは注意する点がアクアユニットを本体に差し込む際、キツかったのでチョット強めに入れ込んだら根本から折れましたさすがに開封直後だったので凹みましたよ　えぇ
