Impressive performance
This bad boy does the trick. It’s pricey yes but consider how much you’d spend getting a tree company out to do the work. Get a file with this and you’ll be saving money for a long time. It really rips through tree branches.

So lightweight!
Best tool for tree trimming! It’s so lightweight and the blade does the work for you. Even with no upper body strength and tendonitis in my elbow, in no time I was able to remove several branches 15 feet up. It’s well designed and easy to extend and adjust, and it feels safe. Wish I had this years ago. I have an electric pole saw which is great but it doesn’t reach that high and is very heavy for me. This saw is a must for yard cleanup.

Not bad
I was looking for something better than the standard Fiskars at The Home Depot but could not afford the Japanese model that costs more than a gas-powered pole saw. This was an OK choice. The pole is longer and stiffer than the Fiskars, and the head is lighter. So far, the blade performs about the same as the Fiskars and perhaps should be an inch longer. Overall, I am able to do a better job limbing higher up and with a reasonable amount of effort expended. Would buy again.

They had me at: Japanese Blade ;) Terrifying blade, all tree branches should be cowering in fear!
I'm a little old lady who bought 2 "amazon warehouse" pole saws to tackle my neighbor's unruly tall tree branches. The other was much lighter and telescopes into a compact size. I thought this was surely going to be the winner but it came bent(!) and missing the blade! RETURN!This one came just wrapped in plastic, no protective box, no directions, doesn't telescope to a compact size at all- its huge!, much heavier and was way more $$$$.I was super disappointed in both but decided to try out this Kamikaze.1) watch the EZ Kut Kamikaze video (since it came with no directions). It explained all the features and shows how it works.2) the blade cover is bright RED!, sturdy and just awesome to cover/protect the truly terrifying blade!3) though it felt heavy at first, its well balanced, feels solid and was surprisingly easy to use. though it doesn't make sense, the pole saw did not feel heavy in use.4) the Japanese blade does not disappoint! it sawed through 2 kind of tree branches with ease. the curved tip/hook makes it easy to direct and pull branches that get caught up.There is premium Japanese brand pole saw which is way more expensive and way overkill for my use but it got me searching for Japanese blades which brought me to the EZ Kut!This EZ Kut Kamikaze is more than I had originally intended to spend to cut down my neighbor's overgrown tree branches but after using it- its totally worth the extra cost!

Makes the job almost easy
I've used pole saws before and this one is my favorite one. What took a hundred back and forth cut now takes 40 or less. It's that good. The pole has the least amount of flex and locks in place. The scabbard is the weakest point of this saw. It is better than nothing but I feel at some point in the future it will split apart. The handle is grippy even when your hands are sweaty. If I ever need to replace this pole saw I want the same kind. It's a great saw.

Great Product
I have been shopping for a trimmer for a while. This is an excellent product. Easy to use, well made, very sharp saw, well balanced and seems to be durable. I have been using on Palm Frawns and Oak Limbs and does a great job on both.
