Lovely wool but has a tendency for the wool to split when knitting. I can’t comment about the washing or wearing as the garment is for a yet unborn baby.

Looking at picture in Debbie Bliss knitting book this is supposedly soft grey but actual product is distinctly blue & in my opinion bit if clash with the two other colours needed for patternOught to be much lighter than is
