Compared to identical one from 1 year ago this one is much cheaper made. The gray sponge foam is softer than the old one, the memory foam layer is almost half in thickens compared to the old one (or maybe 2/3 only), the gray margin cloth/band that is layered with a thin sponge/foam is also thinner than the old one.Overall the topper is much softer because of that. i was looking for it to be like the first one from 1 year ago, medium firm... Unfortunately I had to request a return.My question is: why is the memory foam thinner and the gray sponge softer compared to the on I bought last year?

I personally ended up not being a huge fan of this topper as it was firmer than I anticipated however guests and my other half all loved it so I'm not going to fault it for that.I will say the packaging it came in was fantastic and easy to handle and the topper 'inflated' to full size in no-time after it was removed from the vacuum pack. The corner straps on the topper also do a great job at preventing it from slipping and all around, I'd say this item is well put together.So if you like a firmer sleep, definitely a worthwhile consideration at this price point. If you like something soft? maybe look elsewhere.

I took a while looking at options, we are fortunate having so many but it can be overwhelming..and some of the prices are eye watering. But too cheap means someone's struggling and usually too exhausted to do well at their work. Cut corners to cheap and eventually end up with a worn out hanky. Not a good thing when seeking a decent mattress topper.I recently bought a medium firm mattress found out fast that needs a topper. Searched and searched and saved. Eventually needs must, I bought this topper bc the reviews were enthusiastic and encouraging. It was delivered in good time. I left it for 72 hours. So glad I trusted the reviewers. It has helped the Fibromyalgia and degenerated spine, hip problems, inflamed by all and any pressure at several points from neck to feet. Arthritis too. This topper after only a few nights has reduced night back & neck pains significantly. I have to sleep on my back. It is imperative that it is supported well. This topper isn't the sort of spongy soft you sink deep into like some sofa cushions, but it does wonders. Seems soft but supportive, no springs digging into me, noticeably comfortable, much more so than the medium firm mattress with too many freaking digging into me springs, it's own tiny topper just a bit of ordinary foam I suspect. Not cheap but not mega money that mattress. So producing the need for this very topper.Extremely happy with this purchase indeed. Now I know why the reviews are good. Bc this product is. It keeps it's supportive quality, without dips from where I lay on it. Extraordinary actually.Only one glitch that isn't a major problem. The way it was packed could be improved. The item, a double, is folded in half before being compressed & rolled up. That is in the centre of the topper from head to foot, laying on it isn't a 'digging' into the body, problem. But it did not 'go', while inflating, but it inflated as the rest, keeping the^shape(odd) tho' over the first few days sleeping on it it is very slowly seeming to settle. Apart from that the whole thing inflated to it's objective a bit b4 the 72 hours but of course I timed it to the 72 hours. However that head to foot central ^ line looks worse than it feels.. truthfully, I couldn't be bothered with the returns hoo ha. And not one to waste stuff like this It is staying right where it is. It is serving me well, causing no problems, reducing night pain. I suggest the packaging could be better considered to prevent such. But I most definitely recommend this item. So, should you decide to order one, don't be put off by it's ^. If it has one and puts you off keeping it and trying it out. Such a quality sleep/rest in bed well, affordable item.

Mattress topper purchased to replace a tired worn sofa bed mattress. Specifically wanted one slightly thicker and this was a good match. Topper folds and unfolds perfectly and works very well as a fold out bed mattress.But this is NOT memory foam. I have other memory foam toppers. This is mostly standard foam, with a minuscule thin layer of some other foam glued on top.Topper cover is removable and washable, however the internal synthetic material isn’t tumbledry safe which is a shame.So good for some specific purposes but item not as described.

After reading very mixed reviews about Inofia mattress toppers, decided to give this one a go anyway. I had never been let down by any product I had ordered from Amazon - and our old mattress was really giving us a lot of discomfort and pain, so I thought it can’t be worse than it’s been. Turned out I have made a good decision!I think everyone’s different - what is Perfect for someone, will be not so good for someone else. Opinions are very individual, and I guess the best way is to try things for yourself. This mattress topper is very good for us - thick enough to be a mattress not mattress topper, very firm yet very comfortable, came without any smells, stains or damage and got to original shape in less than 24 hours. Once put on, it had remained in place, so it does what it says - with a help of elastic straps on each corner and anti - slip texture at the bottom it doesn’t slide.I wasn’t after a soft mattress - for me firm pillows and mattresses are proven to work the best. That’s why 4 stars for softness because that’s the softness I’m after. However, people who like opposite thing, will definitely find it too hard. I think the firmness helps to relieve back pain, too. It feels hard - ish at first, but moments after you kinda ‘sink in’ memory foam and it feels very comfortable. I’m running regularly and sadly aches and pains in shoulders and back has been a part of every day. After just one night on this mattress topper I felt like I’m having a new back! My partner’s the same - his back pain is gone, too.Before very often I would wake up at night feeling too warm - since getting this mattress topper, it has happened much less, only few times, so maybe it’s something to do with those ‘clever’ layers of filling inside.Mattress topper came with a big storage bag and Velcro straps to keep topper fixed in a bag - I used them to store our old mattress topper. We had Slumberdown Airstream topper before - worked well and lasted ages, but not as good as Inofia.Overall, we are happy and feeling like it was a right choice for us. Cheaper than buying a whole mattress, but not as flimsy as cheaper mattress toppers.
