Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask, 6.7 Fl. Oz

I have dark brown curly hair that I prefer straight, and I bleached and dyed it one too many times. Even after trimming multiple times, I couldn't run my fingers through my hair, even when I straightened it. It felt like actual straw, and I was contemplating cutting it all off, even though I've been working so hard to grow it. I used this product before in many colors, and I remember it working amazing, but it's just so expensive. Unfortunately, nothing else was working, and my confidence was going down. This is not a miracle cure, but I can run my fingers through my hair now, and now I'll be able to continue my hair growth journey with regular trims and not a big chop. I personally find the smell too strong, but anything Moroccan Oil brand is going to help save your damaged hair and is worth the money. I have short, medium thickness hair, and I'm guessing this will last me 3 uses (3 weeks). I sectioned towel dried hair and coated each section twice, combed it through, then put a shower cap on for 30 min. I didn't care about the color, just as long as the product worked, but as you can see, my insanely dry and brassy hair absorbed the color nicely.

I attempted to dye my hair and it came out black. To try and take the black out I used a product to strip the color from my hair which REALLY dried it out and left it patchy with some parts dark, some parts completely white and some parts orange. I dyed my hair again using a light brown shade which dried out my hair more and still left it light orange in many places. I did not want to die my hair again and damage it even more, but I couldn’t bear the thought of having orange hair. I came to Amazon and found this product and thought, what the hell. It was easy to apply, left it on for 10 minutes, rinsed out and BOOOM no more orange and my hair feels soft and silky again. I’m usually don’t write reviews, but this product saved my hair and if I can help someone else who is in the same situation I was, that’s awesome. I am so grateful for this product!

I recently colored my hair using L'Oreal Paris Feria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Permanent Hair Color in B61 Downtown Brown. While the overall hair color closely matched the image on the box, my roots unexpectedly turned bright and brassy orange, which was quite displeasing. I managed to bear with it for a week before deciding to apply a darker brown shade to conceal the roots. Unfortunately, the color did not set as expected, leaving me disappointed yet again.Luckily, I found this product, which I must say is truly a lifesaver! After reading the reviews, I cautiously applied it only to my roots and slightly beyond, leaving it for the recommended duration of 5-7 minutes as instructed on the package. But once I washed my hair there was no noticeable change. With my hair partially dry at the top and still wet at the bottom, I spontaneously decided to give it another try—after all, what could possibly go wrong?I left the product on for 20 minutes this time, thoroughly saturating my roots and gently combing it down through my wet hair, essentially experimenting with the process. I figured that even if things didn't go as planned, I had nothing significant to lose. To my surprise, the results were precisely what I had hoped for: no more brassy orange roots, and my hair color was finally a consistent, light, cool brown shade.While this solution is only temporary, I'm relieved and pleased to have discovered this product, knowing that I won't have to worry about my orange roots for quite some time! If you get the product you might have to experiment with it a bit to get the results that you want.

Smell is great & leaves hair super soft! I love the color (purchased copper) and how it turned out on my light brown hair. The only reason for the knock down to 4 stores was for the lack of grey coverage (didn’t cover any of my silver strands. Have dyed it twice now with different setting times with no luck) and it’s staying power (I realize it’s not permanent but it only lasted two washes for me) Would still 100% recommend and will be trying more colors soon!

Love love love this product brightened my hair up I will have to go to the salon less because my hair looks amazing after using this I will say that a little goes a long way and wear gloves lol does not stain your hands it comes out with water this product is amazing

I have brown hair but was hoping for a darker brown hair and I had a balayage. Anywho the color deposited on my blond hair but did not make a different on my brown hair. My hair is a light brown or even could be classified as a dirty blonde. The color of my once blonde hair looks more purple than brown and the rest of my hair appears unchanged. If you have light hair I am sure this will work for you, but just know it looks more purple than brown… Not really worth the money in my opinion. Additionally I have super sensitive skin and I had a rash reaction to the formula, but that probably won’t happen to most other folks. I’m just one of those people who has to be careful, if you are someone with super sensitive skin I would also advise you to do a test patch.

Honestly this has saved me so much money! I dyed my hair red and was having to go in to get it toned way too frequently. Now I just use this in the shower once a month and it keeps my hair red and honestly even better than the tone.
