2 years in it still works like new
These are great. I have been using the same one for 2 years so far and it is still fine. I keep it on my center console and it is easy to stick my phone to it for viewing maps. Mine is not at a steep angle so I can basically throw my phone at it and it will stick. After a while it gets dusty and less sticky but once I wash it with dish soap and air dry it is as good as new again.

Way more uses than just in an auto
OK, I'm rarely impressed with products this cheap (cost) but darn these are good. First, used one in our car to hold a TPMS monitor and just back from a two week trip and worked perfectly. Monitor never moved. Also used two in our RV; one to hold a small trash can in our RV and another to hold the toilet bowl brush holder in the RV. We went over some real rough roads and both never moved. These are great.

Love these things
I ordered these many years ago from a different seller and thankfully found they are still available. Never used them on dashboards, but they are fantastic for keeping things in place on my desk —trays, external hard drives, mobile phone stands, etc. Rule of thumb: If they don't stick, you're doing something wrong. These things are incredibly sticky. Wash them thoroughly when or if they lose their stick. Sometimes it happens on the top side when there's a lot of dust. Dry them properly, ensuring that the towel doesn't leave any fibers on the surface. I pat them dry with paper towels and leave them in a place with good circulation until completely dry. If the pad is still damp when you apply it, it won't stick. Once dried, it will stick like glue, and be difficult to peel off. At its stickiest, it's a strange material that is somewhere between a solid and liquid--a bit like tar, although more accurately like a gel. Again, I'm speaking about hard surfaces like metal and wood. I've never tried them on dashboards. These things are invaluable to me, and they last for many years.

Works as expected
They are great for setting things on but sometimes it's a challenge to get them back off.

Small And Practical To Use
Small and practical for holding our Escort radar detector on the dashboard. Easy to use and to store when not in use. Good product at a good price.

Works really well; many uses, too!
I love these sticky pads. I used to be able to get them at Cracker Barrel but not any more. And these are about 50% (or more!) cheaper than the others I used to get. They are as advertised. I use two on my lap desk to hold my iPad securely. When they get to where they are not as sticky, I just wipe over them with a wet wipe. (You don’t want fibers from the wipe or towel on the pad). I also use them on my nightstand to hold my 3-in-1 phone charging station securely in place. It tends to want to move around when I have grabbed my phone too many times. Again, wipe with a wet wipe and it is literally just like brand new. I’m sure there are probably at least a dozen uses that a household could find for these. So glad I finally thought to check Amazon for them.

Very sticky dashboard mats
Car dashboard mats are thinner than I thought they would be and they are more sticky than I thought they would be. I’m afraid they might be hard to get off my dashboard if I forget and leave it on my dashboard for a long time.

Absolutely stays put
I love this so much I put one in all the kids (grown up kids) stockings and gave one to all my employees. Sun glasses won’t slide on the dash, phone, whatever you toss on the dash stays put. It is a tacky feel but pulls off the dash and leaves no residue. No residue on glasses or phone. Definitely recommend and I personally have purchased more than once
