I have been using aluminum foil tape for years in my shop. It's not much in terms of tensile strength, but it sure can seal air and water leaks. Be careful if you're not used to it; if it folds on itself, it really sticks and is not easy to undo without tearing. Actually, it sticks to just about anything. Just some things adhere better to than others. It works well outdoors, well, for me it does. Not cheap, and there is a reason why; it really is good tape.

Careful, it is sharp and it will cut you if you play fast and loose with it. Pro tip - use a razor's edge to get it started, but keep the backing peeled inbetween cuts, otherwise you will go INSANE continuing to re-peel the back over and over again. I put roll on a broomstick that was setting on two chairs (as my DIY dispenser), worked great! Excellent quality, ridiculously good stickiness!

This aluminum foil tape worked well for my project. It sticks properly, is easy to handle, and is especially useful for covering small holes or gaps in areas where the insulation does not fully reach. It gave a clean finish and has been a practical solution to improve those small spaces that are otherwise hard to seal.

Bought about a dozen rolls of this tape to use with a radiant barrier. This tape works as expected for foil tape, which given the products price, is a good deal for quality. The adhesive sticks to metal panels, wood, and Mylar fabric exceeding well. When exposed to the elements (100F plus heat, rain, 50mph winds), the adhesive starts to break down, but i found it’s still good until the wind catches and pulls the tape up. Once the tape has been pulled up after being set in place for a day or two, the adhesive is no more and the portion of the tape cannot be reused. Unfortunately, like all foil tape, getting the foil off the paper backer can be one huge pain in the arse!

this is not the highest density/thickness tape available, it is exactly as advertised. The sealant/adhesive is top quality. This is a product I will buy again and again in my career. Duct seal, vent seal, airflow seal, low pressure exterior application, finished product.

My dryer vents through the floor and the pipe goes under the house out the side wall. It's about 15' from the wall vent to the floor input and at the floor connection sometimes gets loose, making the dryer's pipe disengage from the connection at the floor. I used this tape to reconnect the pipe to the floor connection and get things working as they should. I'm pleased with the adhesion of this tape. It seemed strong enough to do what I needed it to do, and it solved the problem of connecting the two pieces without the need to get someone to go under the house. The only issue I had with this tape was getting the backing off of it. I don't know how you could make this easier, but for me, it was really tough. My daughter has slightly longer nails than I do and she used them to start pieces for me so we worked together to get this done. Maybe there is a trick to it that could be shared, but I don't know it. If you need a tape that is very sticky, with strong adhesion that is also heat resistant, get it. It works as expected.

I love this Aluminum tape. It can tape or seal anything, from taping the cable of Christmas lights or covering a hole in an aluminum lid. It's waterproof and stays stuck for a long time.

My HVAC guy pointed out that my system was leaking cold air into the garage, so I grabbed this tape and wrapped the trouble spots. Problem solved! It stuck really well and sealed everything up tight. Super easy to use and feels like great quality—definitely glad I picked this up.

PACKAGING Spedizione prime superveloce, il giorno successivo all'ordine ho ricevuto il solito pacco Amazon dove all'interno c'era il nastro proprio come si vede qui. CARATTERISTICHE Il nastro è di ottima qualità, lungo 64 metri e l'adesivo dello stesso è protetto da una carta facile da staccare. L'adesivo è molto resistente l'ho usato per sigillare alcuni punti dei tubi di rame per il passaggio dell'acqua calda e le giunture della canna fumaria. Resiste ,secondo la descrizione a 120 ⁰ C ma a detta di alcuni può resistere anche a 300 ⁰ C. Il nastro è anche più spesso rispetto ad altri nastri che si trovano in commercio. PRO • Adesivo resistente • Nastro spesso • Ottima resistenza al calore • Facile da applicare CONTRO Al momento nessuno CONCLUSIONE Se non volete spendere un patrimonio e volete un nastro resistente all'adesione e al calore, ve lo consiglio.

At the beginning, I like this foil tapes a lot. it is easy to use, it feels high quality, and not hard to remove. But it doesn't withstand bathroom humidity as much as that foil tapes from 3M. This professional foil tape is strong enough to hold a thinner carbon filter + a thin dust filter to the ceiling exhaust vent, but not strong enough to hold a 0.2 inch thick carbon filter + a thin dust filter to the ceiling exhaust vent for more than 2 weeks (whether as 3M foil tape is able to hold it in place and it won't peel off like this one). Nevertheless, my father still likes this tape.
