The Marine Corps Grid Fleece Under Pant is an extremely comfortable warming layer tat traps heat but allows for a dry and breathable wear.

Great quality, very comfortable, but order a size smaller!
I bought these to use as thermal long johns while snowboarding and also to just wear at work under my uniform during the winter months on base. I was also thinking I needed some pajama pants lately, and these seem to fill that spot far better than the original intention for the buy. I wear a size Medium Regular trousers, so it made sense for me to buy the same size. They ended up being a little large on the waste (they barely grip the lower part of my waste to stay up), definitely too long, very loose at the bottom, and surely too baggy to be used as thermals. They are VERY comfortable though and good for just wearing around the apartment. If I would've bought a Small Regular, these would've fit perfect.Overall, the pros are it's a great quality product and very comfortable, my recommendation is just to order one size smaller. The main con for me, which may just be personal preference, is that they don't have cuffs at the bottom that really seal around your ankles.

Finally size 3X long underwear that is warm and the croch isn’t 5” too long! Buying more!
My husband loves these and wants more even though he has every brand online!

These are Grid Fleece but they are not genuine USMC issue
These grid fleece are warm and effective but they are not FROG and will not pass for Marine Corps issue grid fleece so if you are purchasing to turn back into IIF, it's probably not going to work. The real concern is whether they are flame resistant. You are more likely to find what you're looking for at a military surplus store near a Marine Corps installation. If you are buying these because you are an avid outdoorsman, they are warm and will serve you well. They don't have a lot of stretch so you may want to buy a size up.
