FROGG TOGGSMen's Classic All-Sport 3-Layer Waterproof Breathable Rain Suit

Best inexpensive Motorcycle raingear EVER!!
I bought this suit (Men's Classic All-Sport) because I was going on a riding trip and wanted some rain gear "Just in case"Well, let me tell you-- It was soooo worth it. Let em tell you a story-- Come along for the rideI ride an FJ1300 sport-tour motorcycle. Think fast, but comfy. In that past, motorcycle gear that was touted as waterproof has been anything but. There's always a leak at some point. And for some reason, when a leak springs, it;s always the crotch that get wet first and the most soaked overall. Even motorcycle specific rain suits aren;t much better, easy to tear, etc. So, Why bother spending $100+ on something that's probably going to leak anyway. So I get the Toggs.Riding into southern Mississippi, I hit a storm. Not just a storm, A Mother%$#^#&%# storm. Saw it coming, stopped before the rain and put on the Toggs over my summer armored mesh riding jacket and pants. These things are completely windproof (a least to 85-ish + MPH) So much so that in the 93 degree heat, I was praying for the rain to hit. When the rain did hit a few miles down the road, it was like God decided to follow me while pouring a 5 gal bucket over me. Not a leak. I stayed dry for over 4 hours of rain. In driving rain, Pea size hail, regular rain, and light rain with speeds ranging form 45mph to 70mph. When I got to my destination, my crotch was DRY. The only wet was the cuffs of my pants that slipped outside the bottom of the pants.Seriously impressive. These are now my go-to. Easy to pack on the bike, and will help extend my summer riding gears temp ranges, possibly into the upper 50's if I need a windbreaker. I'm so happy! And in the unlikely event I do tear them, they're inexpensive to replace. Good job Frogg Toggs!!My only complaint is the breath-ability could be better. Not as bad as being in a "plastic" set of rain gear. Even with the rain, the temps stayed in the upper 80's to low 90's so I was slightly moist from sweat and hoping the breath-ability would be better to cool off inside. But I'll take that over being rain soaked any day.So-- If you have a need for rain gear, get some Toggs.Really-- Buy them. NOW.You're already looking, just clicky clicky and get them coming. You'll be glad you did!

Exactly what I hoped it would be.
Most important thing: all the reviews saying these run large are correct. They're meant to be worn over clothes.I'm 6' 6" and 300 lbs (and no, it's not all muscle :o) ). I usually wear a 36" inseam and a 38" - 40" waist, and 2XL tall in shirts. I would normally have ordered the 2XL size, but I went with XL based on comments about sizing. XL turned out to be a nearly perfect fit.Fit:~ The length of the pant legs is perfect. The waist-band is elastic with a draw-string, which I don't need because they're a snug (but not tight) fit. There are narrow velcro straps at the ankles to adjust the fit, which is great for bicycling.~ The coat is almost as good a fit as the pants, but it could be just a skotch longer. Not a real problem, just a preference. The bottom of the coat also has a draw-string to help with the fit. The arms are just about the perfect length.~ The hood is very large, possibly too large, especially if you're facing into the wind and not using the draw-strings to cinch it tight. It will fit most of the way over my bicycle helmet (and I have a large head, thus a large helmet). It's detachable.Construction:~ There are no pockets on either the coat or pants.~ The material really is like a reusable shopping back, but not at all flimsy. I don't think you'd have a problem with tearing unless you wear it around brambles or scrap metal or other snaggy stuff. I can see where piling might happen, and I'm pretty sure thistles would stick to it.~ It's super lightweight.~ I don't think it would be very packable. The material is a bit too stiff for that, not like nylon. This is more of a hang-up or fold-up kind of rainsuit.~ It's very breathable. Aside from the excellent fit, this is what I was most excited about. I try to bike in all weather. That could be very cold rain, sweltering rain, or snow, depending on the season. Yesterday I rode in the rain both to and from work. It was around 40F (4C) in the morning and 50F (10C) in the evening, and it was very windy. I wore a short-sleeved button-up shirt and khakis underneath. I could feel the air moving against my skin and it kept me cool, but not too cool, and it kept the rain out 100%.

Very useful
This is a great set to keep in your car as well as closet. It kept me dry in a normal Florida deluge and dried far more quickly and with less mess than traditional rainwear. After drying it folds up easily and flat—-no need to put it on a hanger. I keep it in my car truck for those typical unexpected downpours when working outside. A bit oversized so there’s no struggling to put it on over your clothing when in a hurry and fits snugly over rain boots so keep you dry all over. It breathes well too.

Size matters! And an overall great overcoat.
Don't be mistaken by the recommend size chart. I'm a larger guy 240+lbs my waist size is a 42. My first order I went with an XXL, it was freaking huge! Stay with a size down, even at XL there's plenty of room for clothes underneath. The outfit is exactly as advertised, light weight, tough, wind blocking, sorta breathable. The pants as tested on a EBike blocked wind temperatures at 32 degrees, with scrubs underneath for work. Very comfortable, better than my thermal motorcycle pants. My only complaint like the others have stated. Why can't we have built in pockets in any part of these clothes? It would help se much. The coat I've worn in chilli 50 degree weather with a light shirt underneath. It's a great wind breaker when it's kinda breezy outside and need a light jacket. Plus it's flashy to others, I wish there were custom camo or designs we could create! Not tested on rain yet, looking forward to it. I have to be careful with cold and rain on an EBike .On a side note, if you're wareing these riding on any bike. DO NOT get anything large, you want as tight as possible to reduce wind resistance and flapping while riding. Great motorcycle outfits!!
