Not Defective
The last track is not "defective." The "vinyl" background sound leads into the "Play me again" segment that is on the vinyl pressing of Yer Album at the end. It was supposed to be a joke.How old are the detractors? The Yer Album LP hit store shelves when I and my friends were in high school. We have followed Joe's career from unknown to guitar great.

A good CD, but the last track is defective
All the songs are great, except the last one. The last song has a "scratchy sound" all the way through. It is loud and very noticeable.I was very disappointed about that defect, but decided to keep it because it was the last song, and only a couple of minutes long.I would suggest quality control get a better grip on it's mass-produced material.

A true TRIP down memory lane!
A true TRIP down memory lane! We listened to this in the 70's in my brother's room in our basement. Black lights and the like...Most of the time stoned or trippin' or both ....Phew...glad we lived thru all that! It is everything I hoped it would be some 40 years later!

GREAT COMPILATION THIS - NO DUFF TRACKS - FROM A GREAT BAND!
Well - God knows where my vinyl copy of James Gang Rides Again went - I probably 'gave it away' sometime, (maybe sometime before I hitched to Kathmandu) BUT anyway I had forgotten how good they were and I ordered this compilation to get a flavour from the past and my mind is blown with how good the music/lyrics are - so Confucius say "Money well spent!" - yeah, can't live without music, can you? Keep On Trucking! '

高い音楽性。
今更ながらではある。Joe Walshが在籍した1st〜4thまでのThe James Gangベスト盤である。非常に高い音楽性を持っていたことが一聴して判る。時代を感じさせないサウンドバランスも素晴らしいが各曲の作りが、そのへんのバンドとは違って一筋縄ではいかない。代表される曲は全て収録されている。 人によってはJoe脱退後のPopなJames Gangが好きと言う方もいるようだが、時代を逆さまに観てはいけません。売れなかったからPopにしたのでは無くて、ギタリストの才能の差だったってこと。皆さん一度は聴いて欲しい。痩せていたJoe Walshも格好いいですね。やっぱり今でもそうなのですが、この頃から顔で弾いていたのでしょうね。Joe以降の曲を含めたBEST盤も出ているようですが。
