Tazah Cooked Fig Jam 16 Ounce

Jam was delicious. However it’s advertised as a 16oz jar. What arrived was a 12oz jar. Be aware that you may not get the correct size.

This is full of cooked figs. The quality is good. The taste is exactly like plain cooked figs. Shipping was fast and well packaged. However, I didn’t like that there were very large and occasionally whole figs in the mix. I had to take portions out and chop the sticky mess by hand for my purposes. Ultimately, with that and the addition of other flavors, it was good.

I only speak for myself. I’ve eaten Fig jam/preserves for 76 + years. This had an unpleasant odd taste. I read the label and it has Anise in it. I have no idea why. If you don’t like Anise like me, it has that overpowering taste.Depends on your own taste as to whether you should buy it. NOT for me.

A black liquid slimy layer was noted inside the jar on top of the figs; had to throw it all away; did not have an expiration date; waste of money

Arrived with the jar coated in sticky jammy stuff that had oozed out of jar. A mess. Yet it says clearly “refrigerate after opening.” How long has pressure closing been disturbed?

Arrived with top open and product exposed and dried out.
