Easy to install. I PUT OFF BUYING THANKING IT WOULD BE A PROJECT TO INSTALL.

It's a decent cover, there is no seal between the base plate & clear cover only a tight lip that keeps the moisture out. It's easy to install without any issues & comes with all hardware needed. The outlet box has to be mounted vertical or moisture will get in through the 2 big holes at the base for the plug wires to pass through.

ordered 6 of these for my new build. I wanted black ones all the in store ones were ugly gray. these are very nice, heavy duty covers. Such a great price to.

perfect for my needs.

Just installed three of these to replace older covers that were not weather tight while "in-use". We use our outside outlets 3 times a year, if not less, so I shopped by price. For 8 bucks each, these impressed. Thicker and heavier than one I installed last year, with a much stiffer hinge; no creaks. The only way to know if they will hold up to the heat and cold, is to see if they hold up in the heat and cold. I'll update in a year or two. 8 bucks for a couple hunks of plastic and/or polycarbonate is still more than I want to pay, but you get the best value you can find, and this seemed to be it.

Rated for CSA/UL and super easy to install. Might as well replace your older GFCI while you’re at it and it’ll work out well.
