Reliance Transfer Boards are designed to accommodate a wide range of transfer situations to better help persons with limited mobility transfer Safer, Easier and Quicker into or out of: Car, Bed, Bath and Chairs. Care givers have more control with patient transfers requiring less lifting thereby reducing the potential for falling or injury. The boards constructed from 5/8’’ Baltic Birch premium grade plywood (with 11 plies). This high strength material is much stronger than ordinary solid hardwoods. Engineered for high tensile strength and durability, it will not crack or split like solid board materials and is substantially more durable with greater strength. In addition, it is a lighter weight. Two comfortable ergonomic shaped hand holes specifically placed close to the ends for greater leverage and control; without compromising board strength. Smooth tapered radius ends allow a less difficult and gentler board placement. In addition to being easier to position with less effort, clothes do not easily snag or tangle during transfers, and care givers have more control for patient transfers requiring less lifting. Finish coating sealed with high quality Poly-Coat, which gives longer-lasting wear and greater durability. The board’s top transferring surface polished to a smooth gloss finish allowing easier transfers into or out of: car, bed, bath, and wheelchair. The underside has a special non-slip texture finish on both ends of the board, enabling better gripping and contact with transferring surfaces. This gives better stability and reduces the potential for board movement while transferring. The top board surface has grooves on both sides for additional handling and gripping options while positioning or when removing the board after a transfer. Made in USA- Our American workers are highly skilled and take great pride in the products we deliver. The craftsmanship and design of Reliance Transfer Boards makes it one of the markets finest boards.

Safe and smooth transfers
Terrific product that took the stress out of transfers around the house but especially in and out of vehicles. The finish and design features of this board just work really well for me and hassimply made life easier. Does what it’s intended to do well. Did have to deal with customer service and found them to be exceptional. Great product, great company.

Personally I prefer the slick top surface. Granted, you do have to make sure it is parallel to the ground and you have hand holds to make the transfer safe and easy. You could put traction tape on the underside if you are concerned it might slip, but I have not found that a problem.

Great transfer board!
Great product. My husband transfers from his chair to the car, his bed, shower etc as a parapalegic. He loves the rounded corners. His pants don't get caught any more and the beveled rounded edges are less problematic on his wheelchair cushion and his air-release mattress. It's slippery, so be careful at first. But it makes the sliding a breeze. A winner! Love my Amazon shopping!

Very happy with quality
We just purchased a second one of these transfer boards because we were so happy with the first. The quality is excellent and we like the rounded edges which help make it easier to slide under my husband prior to transferring. Our physical therapists have all remarked how much they like the boards, as well.

Better product that the rest
Great product! I like the rounded angles because it's so much easier to not get it under my husband and not get snagged on pants. It's a lot lighter than the other boards and by looking at their website; a lot stronger as well! They're also very attractive and come in different finishes and lengths. I'm very impressed with my purchase.
