Perfect set for storing all those little screws, nuts, anchors, and small parts you gather over time. The 6 vertical slats are fixed, but you can rearrange the horizontal ones to your heart's content. Each box comes with 15 individual horizontal slats to make a maximum of 21 (varying-sized) spaces. The slats fit inside a channel and seem very secure - they won't just pop or fall out and ruin all your organization! Additionally, the outside latches are very secure so the lid won't open when you don't want it to. Now here's the best part: Plano will send you extra slats if you just ask! FREE! I sent an email via their website asking where I can purchase additional slats because I couldn't find them anywhere. They just had me fill out a form and I had them in about 2 weeks. I asked for 30 and offered to pay since it was a lot, but they didn't charge me - not even for postage! Unfortunately, they don't come to my house and organize my stuff for me! ;-) Solid product that works for my needs and great customer service - I'll look for Plano products again when I need to organize stuff!

I have been using these adjustable storage boxes to organize fasteners (I get model 3600 – 4 pack). These boxes and dividers are durable and strong. I use them to store fasteners from the very small #4 to the heavy 3/8”. The adjustable dividers are strong and are held firmly in place. When the lid is closed, the dividers are also held firmly in place vertically, so that small items stay in their compartments. The latches are strong, yet easy to close or open. I have been using these for three years now, and never had a problem with them. Unlike some of the other reviews, I have always received plenty of dividers and now have many extra. I also use some of the other sizes of Plano adjustable storage boxes. I am very pleased with the quality of the Plano boxes. You can print labels and attach them to the inside of the lid (I use Excel and Avery shipping labels) to help keep track of the items. I now have so many of these Plano boxes, I made a simple custom shelving unit to have easy access to each one.

I use these to store beads and other items. They are excellent quality. The dividers allow you to create different sized compartments for small, medium, and large items.

Original, red snap lock, is maybe 1/16 inch thinner. Three fit. Has a handy spot to grab and pull it out. See the glove. The new ones, blue snap lock, are just a little too thick to get 3 in the bag, and don’t have the recessed grab handle. It’s ok, I can get all the tackle I need in a couple trays, and the extra trays help me keep things sorted. I carry different stuff for fly, ultra lite spinning, medium spinning and heavy. That being said I find the transparent trays in a nylon bag very convenient. The 3600 size holds enough for me and a friend in the Jon boat, and doesn’t overwhelm my kayak.

Love these little organizers. I use them to hold bits, nuts, bolts, little electronic components. The very durable. The fit is good, meaning they're not sloppy or need some finessing to get them closed. Like some other brands I have bought and when I get tiered of them I'll be replacing them with these. They're worth the money.

These are big enough to organize a lot, but small enough to fit inside larger boxes (like my electrical connectors inside the box with the wire cutters, speaker wire, cable ties,...). Yes, you have to cut the space dividers apart. With a sturdy pair of scissors this isn't much of an issue, and if you cut a sliver into the actual divider sides, it won't affect it's ability to stay in place. Make sure the middle lip of the dividers are positioned at the top (numbers facing upright). I bought 2 4-packs, already have stuff sorted into 5 of them. Arts and crafts, office supplies, electrical connectors, spare assemble yourself furniture parts, and computer/electronic accessories/adapters/SD cards... is what I've got organized so far. So nice to scan through one of these boxes instead of digging and digging through a box to find what I'm looking for. Yeah, it takes some time to set up, but the amount of time it will save me later on is well worth it. The snaps that hold the lids closed, I like very much. With other, simpler boxes, I've had tragic accidents involving seed beads being thrown out of an accidentally dropped container. I wouldn't say these boxes would keep ALL the seed beads in their respective compartments, but with a latched lid, they'll never end up all over the ground. And you could always use poster-board or fabric to fill in that little bit of a gap that there is. If you don't want to go to that much trouble, I went with a Craft Mates product for my itty bitty beads. Anyways, sometimes you just need the right tool for the job. Works great! Now my plastics don't get all out of shape. But thing is the box they came in works in tackle box as to stand. Will order more.

The 3600 series containers are versatile size that fit a wide variety of tools and parts. I am using them to store fountain pens and their associated parts, various small hobby electronics parts, small precision tools, and soforth. The dividers are good and stay in place firmly if you leave a small nub on either side when you cut them out. You can feel these containers 'fit' together a little bit if you stack them, which stops them from sliding around.
