Great ear protection as long as you aren't laying your head on a motor of any kind. What ever touches the orange plastic part gets resonated into your earhole. My wife uses them to weedeat. She doesn't eat weeds. She uses a weed whacker. Also she uses them ignore me when I start blathering about.

Nice product for indoor or outdoor shooting range! I personally wear the strap on the back or my neck is more comfortable for me! But for sure my man Hickok45 can't go wrong!!

Does the job.These do fit in my big ear canals, which is why I bought these instead of using the disposable plugs that my employer provides.My problems with these are:1. I have to jam these so far (or perhaps more accurately: so firmly) into my ear canals, that I can't just pull them out by tugging on the hard plastic band -- if I do, I just unseat the foam plugs from the hard plastic band. I then have to pull the foam plugs out of my ears and reassemble the device.2. The hard plastic band had some rough edge(s) where it passed around the back of my neck. The problem with that: As the rough edge moves across my shirt collar, the hard plastic band AMPLIFIES the rubbing noise into my ears! The rough edge was easily fixed with a penknife.Net: the Cost-to-value of this product is good.I still, however, long for a set of banded earplugs like I had in the Navy: they just fit into my ears & did the blocked the sound without me having to finagle them into an adequate fit to do their job, as I do these guys. These things look like each band will last many months. Hopefully, when their time is up, I'll find hearing protection that's more "plug-n-play" with my big earholes.

Anything good enough for "HICKOK45" will likely work for me. These are the same style hearing protectors he uses in his videos. Much more convenient than bulky cup style over the ear muffs. May only complaint, is that as you move about, the sound from the band, and cord, rubbing on your neck, and clothing, "telegraphs" into your ears. A rubbing sound. No problem when you are standing fairly still. ALSO, some people just cannot tolerate something plugged in their ears, so the cups work better for them.

Okay guys, these ear plugs provide lots of time saved on a busy job site. Being able to deploy a safety Item is not only important but critical for efficiency. Ive fumbled around with individual ear plugs aswell as the type connected by string. However this Product only requires you to slip them into your ear canal and the band provides enough tension.While fitting in my ear comfortably I can remove and put these ear plugs back on within seconds. This is all thanks to the banded feature allowing you to rest them around your neck while not using them.I give five stars for efficiency, safety, quality, durability, usability, and color scheme.

I purchased this hearing protection solely for yard work and occasional power tool use. They are excellent for this and anyone that works around loud machinery (depending on db level of course). I would NOT recommend these for shooting either indoor or outdoors, you should aways wear over the ear hearing protection while shooting, don't take that chance you will pay for it later. I noticed a few reviewers stated that they made noise in their ear from moving on their shirt. If you wear them behind your head they do make a scratching sound but if you look at the directions they are designed to hang down the front of your neck which almost eliminates this sound transference.

Great... keep it in my hardhat and never forget my plugs now... always there when i need them... gave the 2ndpair to my coworker(friend) and he loves them too

Fantastic item. I have a large lot so I'm on the riding mower regularly. These quiet the noise dramatically and are comfortable. Definitely recommend and will buy again when the time comes.I previously used larger "headphone" looking ear protection, but I found that, with sunglasses on, the pressure on the ear caused pain. I swapped in the hearing bands and the issue was resolved.Very cost effective, lightweight ear protection
