The best shell catcher
Excellent product. I purchased this so I could walk the beach looking for shells. It works great. It extends just enough that you can walk the edge of the water and reach in to grab a special shell without getting soaked. It also gives me support with walking.

This thing is AWESOME!
I originally purchased this for my wife, but I’m pretty sure I used it more than her hands-down. It works perfectly, telescopes in and out. It feels practically weightless and is no longer than a large golf umbrella. Originally, I thought it was pretty expensive, but it held up very well and worked great.

Great for beachcombers
Sturdy handle, nice grip, extends a long way, quality hardware. Great for scooping shells at the beach. My spouse loves it, too.

Nice & well made but needs a smaller mesh
I bought this to pick up shark teeth but the mesh is too small and they just fall through, so it doesn't work for that, unless you find a really big one. That's why I gave it only a 4 star. It is great for picking up larger shells and is very well made. I like to also use it as a walking stick. I don't have the extra tip that you can purchase separately, I just use the little basket.

Sturdy and easy to adjust and use.
I used this at the beach in South Carolina to collect shells. Also found there were other people there with the same sand dipper, only different color. Easy to use, well made, easy to adjust (my grandkids used it too.) Seemed pricey at the time, but I’m certainly glad I ordered it…we used it a lot and had a good time collecting.

Amazing! It’s a great purchase!
For anyone that is serious about shelling, I highly recommend this! I don’t she’ll just to shell, I’ve been doing it so long I try to collect shells I don’t yet have unless I find sand dollars that have already died. This was amazing on my last trip to the Gulf Coast of Florida! My kids even found sharks teeth :) Worth every penny.
