As per customer's feedback , Advantage version's sensitivity is too high, also with other defects,So we improve Petiner advantage version to meet some clients' requirement. The time you spend with your pet is precious, and you love having her in your life. When it comes to her behavior, you have very few complaints. Yet, there is one small issue you would like to fix her constant chatter. Lately, her barking and yapping has become the soundtrack of your life. It is'n exactly music to your ears, and you're ready to do something about it. The Bark Control Collar is an easy-to-use solution that will tune out her barking. How it works: Upon your dog's first bark, this anti-bark collar will emit a short warning tone. If your dog barks again within 30 seconds, a louder warning tone will sound. Then if your dog continues barking within another 30 seconds, a even louder warning tone will be issued along with a mild shock, the first and lowest level of correction. There are a total of 7 levels of correction that will be triggered by your dog's successive barks. Each successive bark will increase the correction level if the bark is within 30 seconds of the previous bark. If your dog does not bark for at least 30 seconds the collar will resets itself. As a built-in safety feature, if the correction reaches the seventh level, the collar will shut off automatically for approximately 1 minute. For level 1~2, only warning tones will be issued; for level 3~7, warning tones are issued first and static shocks will ensue. By pushing the button "sensitivity down" or "sensitivity up", you can adjust the collar's sensitivity to your dog's bark and the environment in which your dog lives. Push "sensitivity up" to increase sensitivity and push "sensitivity down" to decrease.

I figured that this was great, my dog would never even get to the ...
This bark collar appears to be a (more expensive) clone of this collar Esky® Anti-bark Static Collar with 7 Corrections and Adjustable Sensitivity Control and it generates the same unpredictable results. Upon receiving this collar, I installed the battery that it came with, adjusted the collar snuggly around my (50+/- lb) dogs neck with the unit positioned at his throat, set the sensitivity to medium, and took my dog out to our backyard to give it a test drive. After 10-15 minutes of no action, my dog heard something, ran at our fence, and started to bark. Immediately the collar sounded a warning beep, and startled my dog enough that he forgot about barking and instead started looking around for whatever made that noise. That only lasted a few seconds though, and then my dog went back to the fence and barked again. Again the collar sounded a warning beep and startled my dog out of barking. At this point, whatever had got my dog barking was gone and so my dog came back over to me. I figured that this was great, my dog would never even get to the shocking stages and the incessant barking at the neighbor kids would be a thing of the past. With my dog sitting next to me, I decided to turn the sensitivity down to the minimum to see if it still picked up my dogs barking. After making this adjustment however, and without my dog moving from the sitting position or making any noise, the collar made another warning beep. Once again, it startled my dog, and he decided he was getting tired of these weird beeps-outta-nowhere and so he started trotting out into the yard away from me. He only made it a few steps before the collar beeped again and he got a low-level zap. As intended, he did not like this and so he bolted, trying to get away from whatever thing was that was attacking him. As I'm calling him and trying to get him to come back to the house so I can get the collar off of him, I can hear it beeping and my dog starting to yelp and scream (or whatever you call that prolong yelp/crying sound a dogs make) as he runs around the yard. Finally I get him to the house after the collar reset itself and pull it off his neck and let him inside. Inside the house, the dog finds my wife and starts alternating between cowering at her feet and climbing up into her lap, meanwhile I'm standing by the door with the collar in my hands, and the thing started to beep at me. I was inside, not moving or making any noise and this "bark" collar began escalating through the severity levels without interruption. In the end, my dog spent the rest of the evening hiding in the bathtub, and this collar went back in the box to be returned. In response to all of the good reviews on Amazon, I suspect that the manufacturer of this collar simply has zero quality control procedures, and whether or not you get a functioning unit is really just the luck of the draw. After seeing the look of blind panic on my dog's face, I will no longer rely so firmly on Amazon user reviews.

Love/Hate Feeling for this product but it works great!
I have a love/hate relationship with this product. First and foremost, I love it because it worked! My dogs stopped barking like crazy and being too rowdy/violent against each other through the help of this product. However, I just wish I didn't need to use it. The first time I used it on both of them, they yelped like crazy as if they were hit by a car or something really horrible happened to them. I didn't like hearing that sound coming from them. It hurt me to hear them sound like that. It broke my heart. But I needed to do something with their constant loud barking and being very aggressive towards each other or else I would wind up homeless. My neighbors have complained about their horrible barking throughout the day, even at night and especially in the early morning when they wake up. I was at my wits end and have tried other alternatives prior to purchasing this. I'm happy I bought this. So far, I've used it multiple times. However, they were only shocked twice!!!! They learned their lesson very early in the game. I've placed it in their neck like 5 times only (when they are being very bad) and poof! They suddenly become angels. They stop barking like crazy and being violent towards each other. After 5 times, the only times I've used it is when they are being bad every once in awhile which isn't a lot but I don't place it in their necks. I just tap the collar in the box and it makes those beeping sounds and they already know what it means. It means no! Stop it! and they immediately stop their bad behavior. I'm very thankful for this product but at the same time I wished I didn't have to buy it. Now, I have less violent and loud pets and I can stay in my apartment.

Poorly designed. Feeling kind of bad for my dogs. :/
I bought 2 of these because I've been having problems getting my dogs to stop barking. I thought seeing as all the reviews were good expect for a few that this product was what I needed. I was DEAD wrong! This collar is terrible!!! I honestly don't know why everyone is giving this collar great reviews. Maybe their dogs are bigger than mine so the collars work differently? My dogs are under 15 pounds. Anyways, the worst thing about this collar is the fact that it shocks my dogs when they aren't even barking!!! I mean, isn't the idea to shock the dog when they bark? This collar was shocking my dogs for just simply being excited and running around. Seriously, my dogs after being let out of their crates in the morning, get a little excited and they bounce around. Honest enough dog behavior to me. However, when my dogs did this, the crappy collar would warn them than zap them. The dogs weren't even barking!!! Not even once!! After noticing this odd behavior, I decided to test how the collars operate so I took them off and did some testing. Test 1: bark (obvious right?) the collars did NOTHING!! I don't know about you, but for me that was odd. I didn't give up on them so because I thought that maybe it just had a better design. Test 2: vibration. I thought this might be a good design because well, if the collar notices the vibration of the dogs vocal cords, that would be a good reason to shock the dog, so I shook the thing. Boom! The collar went off. After a few more shakes, I noticed the collar didn't go off EVERY time. It just couldn't be vibration. My last test, and this time it was just a guess. I blew into the hole in the collar. Boom! Got results EVERY time!!! What an odd design. Thinking maybe, excess air was getting into the hole when my dogs bounced around, and that if air only got into the hole if they barked, that would be a good design. Well, I strapped the collars on my dogs REALLY tight (too tight honestly). Sadly, I got the same results. I started to feel like my dogs were being zapped due to poor design choices.I noticed the patent number on the collars so I googled the patent thinking maybe I could get a good idea of what the designer was going for. My results? I never ended up finding the patent (didn't search hard), but I did find a lot of sites that were selling this collar at like $3-6. That tells me that this collar is VERY cheaply made with little to no thought in mind. This collar is clearly, over priced due to miss informed amazon customers and over rated reviews. DO NOT buy this collar!
