Now contain Palm Oil ........
The point of these sweets is that they are traditional - Imagine the disappointment to realise they now contain Palm Oil.

Something not right
Been buying lions midget gems for years, this time round there was something not right, each gem tasted the same and the blacks weren't good. Texture was also not good. Put it down to storage or something as the date was good. A bit gutted with my favourite sweet.

Long lasting delish flavour until the last slurp..
Tasted just as I remembered, when they were called sports mixtures and I used to buy them, for 4 for an old penny, nearly 60 years ago.Dispatch and delivery was fast and arrived with no damages.Only downside is they are too good. I put them in a air tight box and left them on the kitchen table and every time I pass. I cant resist taking a handful..🥰

Disappointingly let down....
Something is wrong with these....Bought two boxes of football gums and whilst they do have the black ones as original they are now to soft and disappointingly poor.Pity is I have two boxes of these to get throgh.I guess the next sales pitch will be ‘original black gums and original taste and texture’......

Value for money , for a tasty treat
If you like to have an occasional treat , with good flavoured hard sweets then I would recommend these , the other sweets like these by Lions are very soft , if like me you like to chew , then the wine gums and midget gems are what I personally recommend .

Original Midget Gems - Must be Lions!
Quality item! Just as I remember them from years ago, still with the liquorice ones, not like the blackcurrant a well known manufacturer decided to replace them with.

My delight
Bought as I always liked the black ones in midget gems. Delighted to say they are lovely and a great replacement. Once bought a box of midget gems black only but a long time ago. Serve also as a medicinal purpose.

No issues with the seller but the product is rubbish
Fruit Salad are not the same as you will remember them- way too soft now compared to the old ones. Can't work out if its a storage issue as I had a couple of bags of these recently and they tasted the same as they always did.
