I haven't had whey protein powder in YEARS due to an allergy so I can't say how it stacks up to that. However, I can say it tastes pretty darn good for a vegan protein powder. Is it a bit gritty? Yes. Does it have any aftertaste? Honestly, barely at all! Is it dairy free so allergy friendly for me? YES! Overall, I can eat it and it taste good and doesn't make me feel nauseous because of how gross it is (I'm looking at you owyn...). In my opinion this is a huge win, it technically tastes better than my previous orgain fruity cereal in terms of its less gross but I also think it doesn't taste as good because its really bland and not sweet, which all things considered could actually be a great thing and I will definitely use this in ice cream and maybe baked goods going forward. TLDR: Surprisingly good but also quite bland.

So far definitely out of all the brands I've tried (Orgain, PB2 and Steel) Ghost still comes out on top through overall taste and how I feel after consuming it. I've also been using their promo codes they stick inside the tub for points (at like 1,600 points now - if I get up to 7k I can get one of their T-shirts). Taste honestly not super like pancake batter, for me it tasted more like maybe banana cream pie or a Boston cream pie taste, which I didn't mind at all. I absolutely loved this taste and I'm probably gonna be done with it the next few days. Being Vegan honestly the taste is pretty similar to their Whey (Non-Vegan) options - I would say maybe it is little less Dairy tasting, but honestly I'm pretty strict Vegan and the Non-Vegan option didn't make me sick at all (Vs. Orgain Whey I had stomach cramps after a few days). I tried the Steel Peanut Butter and it tasted awful, way too much peanut butter flower they put in their (the PB2 is actually not that bad though). Getting the Peanut Butter Cereal Milk in today and will review that after a few days of trying. Matt

I have bought a few different flavors over the years and have to say that pancake batter is AMAZING! I can't even describe how delicious it is! I mostly add it to oats or make pancakes with it (literally just the protein powder, flour, baking powder, liquid of choice.. SO GOOD). I also like it mixed with ripple milk and added to coffee. It's very high quality, The cereal milk flavor is also very good but pancake batter is just something special lol. It tastes amazing and very worth it!

I really like the chips ahoy flavor so I decided to try a vegan version because I'm lactose intolerant. This is so sweet. It's like 150% bubble tea. I would rather get the regular one and take a lactaid with it, the taste is just not there.

Best vegan protein I’ve had in a long time!

I purchased the vegan Pancake Batter flavor and now that I’ve gotten used to preparing it I really really like it. I typically blend it with almond butter, bananas and Greek yogurt to make a smoothie bowl with granola but it’s still good if you just mix it with milk. I genuinely like the flavor, and for 20 grams of protein it’s only about 180 calories which I appreciate. It doesn’t make me sick the way whey protein does so overall I will purchase this again when I run out. BTW it did come about half empty like other reviews mentioned but it still contains the amount advertised so I don’t mind.

Just not good. Don’t waste your money. If you are looking for vegan protein powder, Vegan creations has the best flavors and mixes great!

Can’t drink this makes me want to vomit
