Received this light and I had to put batteries in it. When I opened the battery compart to put the batteries in, the small tabs that held the top lid of the battery compartment in place broke off. I had to put tape around the lid to keep it close so that the batteries wouldn't fall out. Left this feedback review on this product. To my surprise I got an email from Steve on July 26, 2014 telling me he had read my review and aplogized for what had happened. Steve said he would be sending me a replacement light and also INCLUDE BATTERIES!! What a surprise!!! I was not expecting that at all. Steve said he wanted me to be satisfied with his product. I received the replacement light with the batteries already in it July 30, 2014. Steve stands by his word about wanting his customers to be satisfied. Just don't get that kind of customer service too much these days. Steve definately knows the meaning of customer service. The replacement light is great!!! Thank You Very Much Steve!!!

The reading light I received was damaged and I was concerned that it was not bright enough. Steve of YSB has gone above and beyond to resolve my problem. In a day and age where customer service is lacking, I am pleased to say that this company cares about its customers. I will give them another try and post about the reading light after I try it. I just wanted other customers to be aware of the great customer service this company is willing to provide- if they don't know there's a problem, they can't resolve it.I received a replacement lamp from Steve,his concern over my satisfaction was fantastic and this reading light is excellent. I had problems with the original order, but now that I received this one, it is great. I can see without straining my eyes or bothering my husband when reading in bed and it's the perfect size. The USB cord is a plus to reduce the necessity of batteries.This seller is going to keep me updated on their future products and I would definitely buy from them again. Considering the disappointment I felt when I first received the damaged item, I probably would not have given them the 2nd chance, just because I don't like hassles, but the Seller followed up multiple times and wanted to make sure I was satisfied; it really is NO Hassle.

I really like this light! I have a plain kindle with no light and I read for about three hours or more at night to get myself to sleep. Keeping the regular light on is not an option for I am married and it would be rude for my sleeping problems. I was buying book lights at the dollar store and those lasted a couple of days before i had to replace them. The batteries cot more than the light. This light is perfect because it comes with a cord that you can plug into your phone charger or go buy an adapter at Walmart for 4.99 which i did because i charge my phone at night. The only con is that the USB cable cord is a little short...i had to move my bed closer to the outlet and it still is a few inches too short but i get by with it. the lighting is perfect for night reading and doesn't bug my husband. I tried to find a longer cord for it but haven't been able to find one.

I love this light; it's exactly what I needed. Do be careful with the plastic cover on the back though. I guess I was a little too heavy handed and the prongs at the top broke off when I put the batteries in. No problem; it stays on with duct tape.After reading my review, YPB Sales sent me another light. The mail ran slow,almost a week past the date they said I would receive it (not their fault), and they sent me another one! I now have three lights, and will use them all! Excellent company with which to deal!

The light works as advertised, is light and easy to attach. Except the thickness of my particular headboard won't let it do so. The negative on this item is the "halo" effect the light places on the page. I do most of my reading in bed at night. There is a slight uneven ring of light on the outer coverage area and is distracting--but I'm still using it.

I have trouble finding a place to attach this anywhere. To the book itself? To a duvet, a pillow? It is too small a clamp for a headboard so I am constantly fiddling with it as I read. Moving it from page to page. The light is nice and bright, but a small area only is lit up. Disappointing for a die hard reader in bed looking for a great book light...

I just received this item and am having to return it. I read the reviews before purchasing so I was very careful in placing the batteries in the compartment. Regardless, the small tabs that held the top lid of the battery compartment in place broke off so now I'm without a light again. It's unfortunate since I was very hopeful about this product.

This is a perfect size but I find the bulb dims really quickly as if it uses too much battery power so have since stopped using it
