When Georgiana Summers learns that the peroxide man-eater who stole her husband is planning a romantic weekend with a new love, she hatches a giddy plot to expose the rendezvous and win back her ex. But will she be so busy trying to regain old love that she won't notice the man-eater's latest conquest is her own Mr. Right? In a marital romp that tosses a pair of jewel thieves and chi-chi California resort settings into the merry mix, Kay Francis and George Brent prove again why they made such an attractive screen duo. With Brent's uncomplicated masculinity acting as an ideal foil for Francis' sophisticated charm, this battle of the sexes is sure to end with sweet surrender.

Great Kay Francis movie!
If you like Kay Francis and/or George Brent, this is for you. Cute, totally implausable plot, great portrayals. Genevieve Tobin is hilarious in this movie, too. I wish she had more screen time. Good all around.

Not Bad-entertaining for a while
Pleasant but silly - not one of Kay Frances' best- see One Way Passage or Mandalay or the Jewel Robbery instead- they are sublime

Delightful romantic comedy
An amusing and unusual romantic comedy. Kay francis plays a divorced wife who comes up with a scheme to get her ex husband back when she finds out his new wife (Genevive Tobin) s planning a naughty weekend away with another man (George brent). she intends that her ex shall discover his wife and her lover together. she finds things get complicated though as she and George brent become very attracted to each other, and as if that wasn't enough, a couple of jewel thieves arrive to make things even more confusing. A very entertaining film with good performances from all the cast. i had never heard of this film until. I came upon it by chance, but i'm very glad that i did.
