Nice size to slice a 5lb brick of cheese
This is a good cheese slicer! It is durable, light, easy to use, easy to clean, and hang on the wall. It was inexpensive, and it came with an extra wire. I couldn't find a good one like this at the store. They are usually too small to get a good sandwich slice. This one is perfect for sandwich slices as well as cutting cheese into blocks from a 5 lb brick.

This cheese cutter is exactly what I needed to cut blocks of cheese into small cubes. I'm so glad I found it!

Works really well on Stiltons and Wenseydale
It cuts without crushing theses cheeses but is too insubstantial for Jarlsberg or hard cheese.

Great for large blocks of cheese.
Cutting into a block of cheese with a knife IS NOT much fun, as it takes a lot of force to get the job done, and it rarely comes out straight. This tool goes through like it was softened butter. Have been looking for this for a while, and on first use, a sigh of relief came out, and other than the tail end not cutting due to where the wire is mounted. The way around this is just by picking up the block of cheese and pulling the last bit through the wire.

A great little hand slicer that you could use to North prep a cheese board and put alongside if you wanted guests to cut their own slices. Lightweight but sturdy, fits nicely in the hand and was a great price point. I haven’t yet needed to change the cutting wire, will update later if I have any insights on that!
